Has anyone here stayed in a Wilderness Cabin? I was just wondering what ammenities you get staying there, and what people's experiences were like.
Thanks for the information.

The cabins give the feeling of being away from it all. I like my Disney resorts to give me the feeling of being in the middle of it all.
The Ft. Wilderness resort has swimming pools, but they are unthemed and there are no waterslides or the pool amenities you get in the other nicer resorts.
There are nightly campfires and Chip -n- Dale make appearances and you can watch a Disney movie on a big screen. This may appeal more to young, young children who aren't going to have the energy to stay at the parks until closing, or who aren't going to be interested in Downtown Disney.
Transportation is time consuming and confusing. You walk to a bus stop, figure out the color coding for which loop to which area, and then catch a bus that takes you to one of two places where you then transfer to other transportation to where you are going, as I remember.
Ft. Wilderness is a different experience and is not for everybody. Be warned and you may love it or you may want to avoid it.
