Of course, with the new Fantasyland, maybe a few additional in park launch locations can be added to the mix? The park launched shells aren't as expensive as some of the northern launched stuff.

On the contrary, save for the really large 1.3G shells (the 8" and 10" aerial shells fired from behind the park,) most of the in-park pyro costs much more on a per piece or even explosive weight/dollar ratio. The in-park pyro is all classified as 1.4G articles pyrotechnics or proximate pyrotechnics. Because the safety distances from product launch location to guests is much shorter than the 1.3G aerial product, the 1.4G product must be manufactured to much closer and precise tolerances in everything from explosive weight to composition purity to insure consistently safe product performance. This precision costs a lot of money.

I would rather see them devote their time, resources and creativity to developing a replacement for Spectromagic or updating it....whoops, sorry, I am sure I will catch it for that :lookaroun

I think they could change it in a couple of years but wishes is still pretty new compared to the other shows, so won't replace it even if it is definitely not the best fireworks show.

The large stuff at the northern site is what I was referring to. Actually, those shells remind me that I wouldn't mind a little plussing for Wishes. An example of what I'd like to see from the northern site on a regular basis is below:

In the time since Wishes has opened, how many new fireworks shows has Disneyland gotten?

Just saying.

2000-2004 Believe...There's Magic in the Stars
2000-2004, returned in 2006 with major updates using some of Remember's tech-Believe...In Holiday Magic
2004-Imagine A Fantasy in the Sky
2005-2009-Remember...Dreams Come True
2009-Magical
2009 starts Friday-Halloween Screams -A Villainous Surprise in the Skies.

This year DL will have gone through 4 shows Remember, Magical, Halloween Screams, and Believe. All the DL firework shows are not part of any hard ticket parties.

Theres also the smaller ones that both MK and DL have gotten too, Disney's Celebrate America a Fourth of July Concert in the Sky, Grad Nights and New Years Eve.

New Years Eve has to go to MK since in 07 going in to 08 the Santa Ana winds didnt let the show perform and in 08 going in to 09 heavy fog moved in blocking all the fireworks.
