Why no webcams

This one from the Blue Heron Resort is always live . . . http://71.43.203.4/view/viewer_index.shtml?id=3207
Also, Eyesonears usually has one or two up. We've actually streamed ourselves from BLT a few times while staying there on Eyesonears. The Weatherbug cam that was up on the Contemporary was only up for a few months and then disappeared. :(

Can you link me to the one on EyesOnEars I can't find it. Also, the link you posted says the stream is taking place at 9:09AM and it's currently 4:56PM EST. Is it delayed?

Thanks,

You can do a search for it on YouTube. I've watched those videos many-a-night to unwind before going to sleep. Talk about a restful sleep indeed! :D (Though sometimes leads to a bitterly depressing early morning the next day when I remember I'm NOT at Disney.)

Can you imagine how cool it would be to have a webcam from the top of the train station shooting down Main Street? You would be able to see crowds, parades, fireworks! Probably not a way for Disney to make money off of it though

That's where the old public one used to be, I spent many hours looking down Main St prior to 9/11...

Every once and a while there are fans who will put them out the window of their resort and I think there was one on top of the swan or dolphin at one point...I would tune in all day long but sadly the aforementioned nefarious terrorism BS got them taken down:oops:
We cold start a thread just for people to put there webcam video on. Live or recorded....live would be nice

I used to watch WDWLive all the time, now I just use their pictures for my computer background. :p Someone used to have a webcam set outside their hotel room at POR that could be viewed on portorleans.org, but I haven't seen one in a couple years.

EDIT- I just realized there's one of portorleans.org now thanks to a comment above! :p

Yep, me too. If you tuned in around 3:00 pm you could watch the parade on Main St. Terrific way to kill time at the end of the work day.

In Epcot, there was a camera from the American Adventure and you could watch the boats and the pope. Not as interesting as Main St but still good.

Pope Benedict to Retire to Epcot’s German Village

February 11, 2013
News

Papal spokesman Federico Lombardi has confirmed that Pope Benedict intends to retire to Orlando, Florida after abdicating the papacy later this month. “At his advanced age, Pope Benedict cannot return to the bitter cold of his German homeland,” Lombardi stated. “He has always longed to buy a small cottage in the German Pavilion in Disney World’s Epcot theme park, where he can enjoy an authentic German atmosphere, warm weather, and Disney magic throughout the year.” He would continue his priestly ministry on a smaller scale by joining the regular rotation of priests celebrating Mass for tourists each weekend at the nearby Shrine of Mary, Queen of the Universe. Disney officials have quietly confirmed that Benedict will be given a lifetime pass to all seven parks, and that he is especially looking forward to reading Augustine while leisurely circling the lazy river at Typhoon Lagoon.
