I actually like this park quite a bit, but it's always felt unfinished and disjointed and the BAH is just another example of this park just not being 'there' yet. I honestly think I wouldn't mind it as much if it was elsewhere. How about the animation courtyard?

Would go well tucked somewhere down near ToT RnR area maybe in the food court and make a QS restaurant out of it. Not totally against it...just against its' placement.

Only to those that never saw the scene before the addition of the BAH. It was much nicer and I, for one, have never considered it an Icon. I-sore, yes! It would be OK any other place in the park other than where it is now.

The Earful tower will always be the park Icon to me.

I like it, just not in the location it's at now. Move it to the Animation Courtyard maybe? Or somewhere at DTD? I was never there prior to the hat, but I like the original view. Based on pictures, I think the hat is one of the reasons the park has an identity crisis. It doesn't represent the park at all.

No. The last thing that hat needs to do is ruin Sunset Boulevard.

Maybe Disney can announce, "Mickey's Burnin' Party Pop Bash" hosted at Disney's Hollywood Studios where the whole family can dance along to to Rihanna and Nicki Minaj songs while they squirt gasoline all over the hat. Then, Mickey comes out with Jay-Z by his side and throws a torch at the hat while the whole family gets down to Jay-Z's latest song!

I have seen it before the hat, that's why I said move it. It's an opinion. And if the earful tower is the icon, why is not in the middle of the park like at all other parks?

@Britt, you're smart. We have people talking about bombing the hat, and we have others talking of arson. Thats not my speciality, but I have friends that deal with those things. Keep your head down, I'll tell you when to get back up......wait....that didnt sound quite right.

I like the hat! But only at night, when it's light up.... It's prettier than you might think!
I do agree that it should be moved somewhere else. Maybe DTD, as someone else said.

I do like the hat. It's Disney's Hollywood Studios, not Hollywood Studios. It's like the wand over Spaceship Earth, it was meant to make the thing look Disney, and I had nothing against it either. Next time you'd be complaining about the characters that were placed in Cinderella Castle's spires (ok, not really, but you get my point...). You mean a useless thing in DHS? That would be streets of america...

While they seem to have wanted the water tower to be the defining structure there (at least it seems they did, as it is in a lot of souvenirs or at least used to be) I do like the big hat. I don't know why, but I think it's pretty cool. Since it's a sorcerer's hat it is tied to magic and HS is meant about the magic of movies, so I think it ties in well.

I don't think there's room in Animation Courtyard, but Downtown Disney sounds like the perfect place. BAH belongs in a shopping mall, not in a world-class theme park.

Streets of America might be my favorite non-attraction thing about DHS. The hat is my least favorite. We are opposites!
