Is this a missed opportunity or too big of a liability? I'd defiintely fly Disney Air! :sohappy: Airlines could use a little competition in the customer service dept, if you ask me!

What I can more realistically see (and what I believe has been done in the past) is for Disney to partner with an airline company to create "Disney-friendly" flight either going into Orlando or LAX. For airlines that have multiple flights going into Orlando each day, one flight is designated a Disney flight, with family-friendly activities and Disney related snacks on board, Disney related in-flight entertainment, etc. Maybe a character meet-n-greet with some of the less-popular Disney characters (to avoid the "why is Mickey Mouse on our plane if we're supposed to be going to his house to see him" type questions). This way if you ARE a businessperson needing to go to MCO, there's only one flight in your day affected by it, should be hopefully easy enough to avoid. But this way Disney avoids the pitfalls of running an airline, and perhaps make money as airlines may pay good money for the right to be the official airline of Disney (passing that cost to customers willing to pay a premium to be on that flight.
Don't know if it would be successful but it makes more sense to me than a Disney Air.
I know I would not personally pay any more money to fly Disney Air. Prices are high enough already. I mean just a few years back, well back more than 5 I could fly from NJ to Florida round trip for just over $100.
Hey,cool photos, thanks for that.No way iam showing these to my neighbours kids who go in September, they'll expect this plane from Scotland.:wave:The closest thing you will ever see that happening...

I hear you on airline prices. I remember when I could fly Philadelphia to MCO airport for about $110 round trip via Southwest. Thank goodness for Priceline to compare other flights and name-your-own. Southwest is now $270 round trip from Philly to Orlando..excuse me? YUCK! No thanks!!
