Why no 30th celebration?

For the people that have gotten 30th anniversary stuff at WDW, is it widely available or only at a few stores?

the 30th is kinda like a been there done that. The 25th was great but the 100th for Walt is at least a little more diverse. I would go no matter what they were doing..LOL

I will continue to go too...I mean...do I really NEED a reason to go there??? It's the best freakin' place in the entire world! I may go on hiatus for a few years at a time...but I always get back there :)

One more ditto on this statement. Heck, they could have a celebration for The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh being there 7 years, 2 months and I will go!

I'm just kidding, even I think that Pooh should have an attraction dedicated to him (although I don't like the Heffalumps room)

There are 2 MAJOR characters that NEED an attraction!!!

Mary Poppins and HERBIE!

I have to agree with WDWFREAK... Toad Rules. I actaully boycotted WDW the year that Toad closed. It's funny, I got a phone call asking if everything was alright because I cancelled my reservations. I told them why I was not coming, and they apologized and said that they looked forward to me being a guest again real soon. It was about a month later that I became a CM, but I still boycotted.

Here lies J. Thaddeus Toad... he hit some pooh on the road.

R.I.P. Toad

I think I'm just bitter about Pooh replacing Toad. I'm sure that Pooh would be a favortie of mine if it didn't displace Toad Hall.

I was upset about Toad too, but being an avid Winnie the Pooh fan, I couldn't be too upset, at least it was being replaced with something I like!!!

Wow. I give you credit kaos. It would take something really, really major for me to boycott WDW. I can't think of any right now.

I think that Disney has just been hitting a lot of "anniversaries" around the same time by coincidense. I don't think that the 25th anniversary was publicized anywhere near as much as the millenium celebration and the 100 years celebration. And it was just coincidence that Walt was born at the turn of the century, so the celebration would be right after the other one. Besides that, I don't think they elaborately celebrated too much else. The next biggest thing they would probably celebrate will probably be Epcot's 25th in 2007, (not counting Disneyland's 50th in 2005, wich will probably be pretty big, too)
