The price is too low. What's wrong with $20?

It needs to be 25. I would gladly give Disney $25 to park. The price is too low.
It has a 2 in itWhat's wrong with $20?
So you wouldn't want to pay $2 to park?It has a 2 in it
Let's raise it to $50 then! Perfect! It is only one bill, and I don't feel like I'm ripping off DisneyParks. It has a 2 in it
Too low!What's wrong with $10?
It's either $20, which seems like I'm ripping off DisneyParks, or $50, which might seem slightly high, but you don't have to live with guilt. Unless you're wanting to go into multiple bills, but then you're talking major problems.Too low!
$50 seems a little on the high side. It isn't a bad idea! But I don't know...
No, no. Not multiple bills! $50 is good. I could sleep guilt-free with that. It's either $20, which seems like I'm ripping off DisneyParks, or $50, which might seem slightly high, but you don't have to live with guilt. FIFY.I wish they would sell a 1-day parking pass. $75 and you can park at the park you want for one time.
$10 in addition to what we're currently paying would be more appropriate. No kidding, $10 would be great!
I LOVE this concept, though I honestly think Disney could get more money outta such a package deal. $90 - $100 would be more appropriate for that number of days. Would definitely be convenient with a one-pay-one-parking pass deal.I wish they would sell a 7-day parking pass. $75 and you can park anywhere for a week.
I can't believe so many people want to see parking costs raised. After all the grief Disney gets because a bottle is water is $2.50 and a gourmet apple $10 and tickets nearly $100 people want to see parking increased to $20 or match Universal at $16? Isn't $15 already ridiculously expensive? Don't worry I'm sure they'll raise prices soon enough. Personally I think they should cut the price to $10 or free and lower the one day ticket to $50 like sea world is doing (albeit only for a limited time and on weekdays). Disney should at least be trying to give the impression of being affordable - I know their food and beverage are the cheapest out of the 3 resorts but that's hardly an effort and most people don't realize it anyway. $15 and especially more than $15 is absurd for parking lots that only fill up a handful of times a year for a destination that already costs $100 to get in. It's like the $400 a night hotels that insist you pay an additional $30 a day for valet parking.
And to the people rooting for parking fees at DTD...are you crazy? Maybe it's cause I'm a local, but I don't fancy paying $15 just so I can go spend money. Even from a business perspective it doesn't make sense to restrict the number of people that are willing to shop at your establishment. You're only cutting potential revenue- and lowering the public's opinion of you. The only time paying for parking at DTD would make sense is right now in the evenings when parking is clearly scarce and there is a reason to try and prod guests who can to come via bus or boat. Once the garages are built, this shouldn't be an issue.
The first page sure doesn't sound like joking - but if it is oh well. I'll feel embarrassed. Call me overreacting - I've seen the argument made in other circles at any rate.Um...they're joking.
You should never be embarrassed on this forum, as it is sometimes hard to discern between serious and insane. I am familiar with some of the people posting, and I can assure you that the ongoing intention is purely for the sake of comedic sarcasm. I realize that it started serious, and I hate to spoil the joke, but I didn't want it to be at your expense. The first page sure doesn't sound like joking - but if it is oh well. I vote for $50 if it'll help Disney's bottom line. Do I hear a $75?It's either $20, which seems like I'm ripping off DisneyParks, or $50
Then we run into the multiple bills issue. If you still feel guilty with $50, then we'd have to raise it to $100.I vote for $50 if it'll help Disney's bottom line. Do I hear a $75?
Well bummer. But you make good points, Sir Sox. If everyone is satisfied paying mediocre prices for a superior parking experience...we'll stop our campaign. You should never be embarrassed on this forum, as it is sometimes hard to discern between serious and insane.
