This would add to Disney's revenue, which in turn could be used for needed updates & additions. It's an investment in future expansions.I think it's a great idea to raise the parking prices to 16 heck I 25 would be even better.

It's just common sense to me.I think it's a great idea to raise the parking prices to 16 heck I 25 would be even better.

$5.15 is minimum wage in some places
Sheesh, maybe there should be a charge for each tire touching the ground. $5 a tire is $20. Good gravy, what will it cost to park an RV? Or a tour bus? Or a semi-truck? Of course if you bring your own car ramps to pull up on it's free.
$25 really is not too steep for parking. For many concerts or ballgames, $25 would be a bargain. If a local Six Flags is charging $20 to park per day, then surely Disney could get at least $25-$30 per car. I pay more than that just for a dinner & movie date. No, there's no such thing as a $25 dollar bill. I think $20 makes a lot of sense, and I certainly pay more than that to park around here.
But this shows that Disney puts less value in it's own product than it does in it's competition. I would be happier if Disney charged more for it's parking than other local theme parks, simply to prove my money was going to a superior product. Hope that makes sense.Disney is keeping their parking one dollar less than Universal so that they can show, if questioned, that they don't work with the competition to set prices.
$1 for parking is too much considering you are paying $99 for a single day ticket, not including food or souvenirs.Don't most people pay for parking and most WDW stuff with their credit card? I rarely see people buying things with cash there.
But I get your point. If they were to raise to $20, that extra $5 per day is about $27 million more per year. And I do not think $20 is outrageous. It costs that much to park at most stadiums and arenas for a measly 3 hour game.
What's wrong with $10?$20 makes a lot more sense than $16. The tool booth people would have to COUNT OUT four single dollar bills from every $20 bill. And they would have to count them twice. Although this isn't a lot of time for one transaction, cars could be backing up like mad at the toll plaza with all this counting.
If they set it at $20, it would just get handed over. For this reason, $20 is also better than $15. No need to even grab that $5 bill.
It might be worth the $4, just for the speed of getting through.
If you're staying offsite, you're already saving so much money (and getting more for it, too, which is hardly fair) that another $50 won't hurt you.
