talk about deflecting.. deflects more with an indirect insult..

now.. about those snacks.
I wonder if @ParentsOf4 has some detailed info about the price hikes and their evolving graphs.

Deflecting what? Seriously, what are you talking about? The guy called me ignorant and I corrected his grammar. Grab some pliers, yank that stick out of your rump and drive on, soldier!

Believe me, if Disney fails it will have almost nothing to do with snack prices. Of all the problems of Disney Parks, that isn't even a blimp on the radar.

This is incorrect. You couldn't possibly understand why because of your predisposition but the entirety of your statement here is completely wrong.

Prove it. When have you ever seen a business fail because it had high snack prices unless it was a restaurant. Snacks at Disney are a secondary, after thought at best. If anything is going kill the place it is the other charges, but, do you see an uproar on Denny's quality restaurant prices at WDW or the absolutely unforgivable room rates? And speaking of predispositions, kettle meet pot!

Snack prices are symptom of far deeper issues. Specifically in regards to Walt Disney World it is the retail store based business model.

man.. people really are short sighted aren't they ???

At this rate.. idiocracy is going to come true on so many levels... even a child with basic independent thought will be able to rule the business world.

You don't really believe that do you? Snack prices are a symptom of deeper issues? You should really go into the earth moving business because no one is better at making a mountain out of a molehill. Other then Spirit that is, he's still the leader. Primarily WDW is a retail store and a high end one at that. They are there to sell you an experience at a high price and whatever accessories that they can unload at the same time. At some point in time we all have to stop romanticizing Disney Parks. Since Walt will have been dead 50 years this year, it seems like as good a time to do that as any. Disneyland was Walt's toy and it was a toy that the public wanted to share. He wasn't really concerned about how much it made, but, it had to make something or he would lose his toy. However, 1955 is not 2016. As much as we all would like to see things like they were 61 years ago, it is not possible. Snack prices are a symptom of the public's inability to go over 15 minutes without something to eat. Nothing more!

Oh good, more contradictory nonsense. Snack prices have nothing to do with public demand for them needing to be curtailed. You're dedication to ignorance doesn't change that how Disney operated Walt Disney World changed in the 1990s and there is nothing illogical about a change in business model affecting pricing. Why don't you just tell us the building codes dictate the snack prices.

I honestly believe the amount of dumb people is always constant. (still a big number percentage wise)
Just now (thanks to internet) they can have very loud voices and be heard everywhere.

Sorry you feel that way. Count me as one who finds pictures helpful, fun, and an enhancement. I guess you can just click past them if you don't like looking at them...? :)
So much extra scrolling though. My thumb, it's exhausted.

That was far from an insult. If you PM me, I can show you the level of insults that I have in my repertoire. Seriously, how are you this butt hurt over a statement made towards someone else?

Make believe reasoning and inability to realize any reality without over dramatizing it can be your friend as well. If you were to claim that snack prices are a symptom of anything perhaps it is a symptom of to much success and not some guaranteed doom factor that is spelling the end of the world. All business's have a business model, not all of them are the symptom of anything other then public response (all the public, not just a few that think that they are so much wiser then everyone else). In other words, if people continue to buy at whatever outrageous price they put on it, they will continue to charge that price. That is also called a successful business model, for now. Whether it continues is the future and even though your intelligence factor is well above mine, your ability know the future is not really believable. Especially since the change in business model changed, as you say, in the 1990s, that was 20 years ago and yet they continue to thrive. Must be some of the Disney Magic at work.

I hope your ready for a cliched meme showing you why/how he is so butt hurt.
still not on ignore?
funny you mention about butt hurt when you just cant let go over a meme.
even more ironic that this thread devolved into just targeting me than actual arguments regarding the issues of snack prices. But hey.. I guess if you cant have a decent argument.. Go for the Ad Hominem Fallacy!
*slow clap*

Thats the irony, because said member claimed he had blocked me. It seems he just unblocked me just to tell me how much he hates "scrolling" (which blocking prevents) and complain "how tired he is" of scrolling and of images.
so I'm like "really?"
Childish..

Real mature!
Not butthurt, I just hate hypocrisy.

There's no hypocrisy going on here. Correcting grammar isn't insulting. Now, are you going to continue whining like a little kid? If so then I'll do like those dudes and block you. Seriously, you're like an infant that hasn't had its nap.
