Why did you pick your online name?

I was wondering why everyone picked the names they did on line (and not because the one You REALLY wanted was taken.)

What does your name say about you?

My husband picked Disney PhD after all the other names we wanted was taken. He is in fact a PhD, but in a much more boring topic, chemistry. I wanted the name Piglet. ( I am a Very Small Animal.) But I have yet to meet the person who got that name.

I picked my name because...dogs rule! And because I want to be a veterinarian (at disney world...which is not an easy job to get...won't be getting it right out of vet school:cool: )

I sold thousands of turkey legs in front of AA at Epcot.

If I did not have some medical issues on New Year's Eve, I would have sold over 1000 turkey legs that day.

It was either a character from Retro EPCOT or Carousel of Progress or Country Bear Jamboree...but CBJ is my favorite, so I just used the name of my website...and Grizzly Hall seems to be an ok sn.

Mine actually has a story...see the hat on my avatar? Well, I have one similar to it in real life....kind of a "just to have it" thing. Well, freshman year in college, I had a few too many rum and cokes, and decided it'd be a good idea to put the hat on all sideways. A few girls I knew at the time said I looked just like Fievel. From then on I was known as Fievel, and the name just stuck.

I grew up in Albuquerque....near my home was a place called Coronado monument....It was supposed to be one of the "Seven Cities of Gold" that he was searching for....The resort reminds me of the archatecture and topography of the place I lived as a youth.......and except for the realy BAD transpiortation system, Coronado is one of the few resorts that is "in" the park but not "IN" the park....by the way....good question.

I picked my name, 'cuz I grew up in a haunted house, and being a Disney fan, the Haunted Mansion seemed like a second home. Strangely enough, I get the same squat top-hatted ghost every time. When I go to WDW with people, we place bets as to what ghost we get... And I clean up every time!

Unfortunately, they won't let me stay there, so until then, I'm the Grim Grinning Guest (original forum), and has since shortened it to Grim Grinner...

Actually.... my mom picked it for me.................. when I was born! :D
I wanted another one though, but everytime I use it, I get some kinda "indecent proposals"! lol

Maria, after visiting many forums, I'm quite surprised that you don't have to bat the snarling Tex Avery-like men away. My wife almost always uses a man's name in order to avoid all the juvenile hyjinx that us men are want to do.

No offense, but it took a lot of guts to use that name...

I'm even more impressed at the general level of class of the people on this forum...
