Why Did Disney World Change Logos?

Funny...both of those were added AFTER the logo was used (more frequently). They were added in 1994/2007 respectively.

The old EPCOT logo can be found between the Fountain of Nations of WS and on the gates outside.

Don't forget the new directional signs around the entrance.

The EPCOT Center flower logo has been on the main entrance area directional signs for a while, I think since 1994. I've also occasionally come across a coffee/cocktail stir stick (I'm sure there's a much better name fo them) with the flower logo on top.

I personally don't like the old WDW logo. It looked really bad. I like the new logo. Its up to date and looks way better!

The typeface itself is still a little to 70s for me, but I love, Love, LOVE the mouse-ear globe!

Disney occasionally uses a combination of the Mouse Globe with the new lettering, but this mostly appears on business cards and company paperwork. It looks good.

The Mouse Glode is awesome and fits perfect. I wish they would bring the old logo back!!!

I posted this in the other thread, so I figured I would in this one too. I like them both. Ideally, I would like to see a merger of both logos. Keeping the script Walt Disney and using the old typeface for World. Adding the Mickey globe to World in place of the O. See the, crudely made, image below.
