a couple of definites for me:
Sterling Holloway - Pooh
David Spade - Kuzco
and I'll concur with Robin Williams, but to me it's a matter of which came first - was Robin Williams cast for Genie or was Genie created for Robin Williams?

How about these...They were good as well
John Goodman - Pacha & Sully
Ertha Kit - Yzma
Zach Braff - Chicken Little
John Candy - Wilbur (Rescuers down under)
Bob Newhart - Bernard
Eva Gabor - Bianca
I could do more...but that's all I got right now.

As soon as I saw the thread title I thought of James Woods. Hades is one of the funniest and well voiced characters in my opinion.
I like Ellen Degeneres as Dorey too. Quirky personality fits perfectly.

I always thought it was funny that Rowan Atkinson voiced Zazu, since one of his most famous roles was Mr. Bean...it's like when you see him he doesn't speak, and when he speaks you don't see him

I always liked Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Potts because she has such a motherly voice and little Corey Feldman as the puppy Copper in The Fox and the Hound...when he says, "I'm a hound dog" and does that pitiful little howl it gets me every time

All these are wonderful...I'll just throw in a few more.

Paige O'Hara- Belle

Alexander Gould- Nemo--I think his voice was so perfect for Nemo...so sweet and innocent. (to be honest, I had to use IMDB to find his name!)

David Odgen Stiers- Cogsworth and the BatB narrator. I never knew that they were the same person until a few years ago.

As soon as I saw this thread I thought of The Lion King's Scar and Mufusa. They were absolutely perfect! (Of course, I may be a little biased about James Earl Jones! I love you, James!) I agree that the Genie was perfectly done with Robin Williams and Dory was also expertly done by Ellen. Eleanor Audley and James Woods did great jobs, as well.

I'm trying to think of one's that haven't been named. I'll post again when my brain isn't filled with so much mush! :ROFLOL::ROFLOL:

You forgot some other ones he did...Gov. Ratcliffe of Pocahontas. Jumba of Lilo & Stich and The Preist in Hunchback of Norte Dame.

Vincent Price as Professor Ratigan in one of the best Disney films The Great Mouse Detective and Jodi Benson as Ariel's speaking and singing voice in The Little Mermaid. Excellent voicework by both in their respective films

It's funny really-- Mr Bean is such an uninspired character, like a poor man's Chaplin, but enjoys enormous popularity. Atkinson's Blackadder is much more expressive and ingenious, but somehow it is always overshadowed by Bean.

Seriously?!? Wow, you learn something new every day! I never knew they were one and the same!! They sound nothing like each other - then again, neither do Frank Spencer and the Phantom of the Opera...

Genie will always be my ultmiate fave, along with the Arab guy at the beginning of Aladdin, also voiced by Williams. He cracks me up everytime!!

"Look at this, combination hookah and coffe maker, also makes julienne fries. It do not break (tap tap) It broke!"

So funny!!! :ROFLOL:

Peter Ustinov as "Prince John" in "Robin Hood". I always remember that laugh, "Aha, aha". How about who ever did the voice for the squirrel in "Enchanted". I am not sure about everyone else, but he cracked me up.

On a sidenote, the voice of S.I.R. in Alien Encounter was excellent. It was just so sinister. It is amazing to see him now with a different voice because they did not change the AA that much but he seems so harmless now. It is amazing how the voice can make such a difference.
