FUN FACT FOR THE DAY: 1/5/2004

today in 1755 Zebulon Montgumry Pike was born... he was the first recorded person to try to hike "pike's peak" (it was named after him) in colorodo.

my question who in their right mind would name their kid zebulon

Sounds like a medicine: "One Zebulon tablet after each meal"...:lol:

My dad read to me today from the newspaper, that a guy wanted to name his son "Manchester United".... after naming his cat "David Beckham"! :rolleyes: Poor son... the cat was luckier! :lol:

"We know that Zebulon Montgomery Pike was born in Lamberton (Somerset County), New Jersey on January 5, 1779. At the time that he was born, Pike's father, also named Zebulon Pike, was an officer in George Washington's army, then engaged in fighting the British for American Independence."

Very good! In the Bible, Zebulon (or Zebulum) was a son of Jacob and Leah and the forebear of one of the tribes of Israel.

Well look at some of the other interesting names like Zowie Bowie and Dweezle Zappa and Moon unit Zappa! :lol:
Actually I have always thought that if I had a son I would like to name him Dartanione, I know that`s not the proper spelling, I just could not think of it at this moment:D and If I had a daughter I would like either Starsha, Crystal or Angel!
