Boy that wasn`t nice of your parents, Ohwell! My mom took me to see Duran Duran for my 16th. birthday! :D and my brother Mark took me to see my first Depeche mode concert, eventhough he hated depeche Mode! :D

Duran Duran, now that's the group I was totally into. Those were some pretty hot guys. They sure didn't age well though and they turned their music into some funky type stuff.

Freak, glad you had a great time. I'd LOVE to see Bon Jovi again. I hear it's a great show, I just couldn't make it to Atlanta this past time when he was there. :( For some reason, he didn't come to B'ham this time.
A good friend of mine saw Springsteen a few months ago when he was here and she said it was a great show. I don't care much for him, so I didn't go to that one. I'm sure you'll really enjoy it though.:)

Tigsmom, isn't eye candy nice. ;) I met JC from Nsync once while walking around the mall. I must say, they boy looked like he wasn't a day over 16.

Freak, my friend won tickets yesterday to see BonJovi last night! She was simply euphoric after the show! Said it was probably one of the best concerts shes seen. She didnt mention the Goos or Sheryl Crowe, so Im thinking it was all about Jon...especially considering she bought a big JBJ poster after the show ;)

I have to hate Freak though, because hes either gone to or is going to all the shows I wanted to go to but just couldnt do. BonJovi, Eagles, Springsteen....oh, Im crying now here at Misery

Im not a big concert person, though. Last show I went to was in 2000. It was Miracle on 34th Street, a big holiday fund raiser put on at Madison Square Garden by 103.5 WKTU in NYC. Paid a nice chunk of change to have rear floor seats but they were right in front of the 3rd floor section so we were slightly elevated, which was good, because you wanted to sit down while some of the, uh, more boring acts were on ;) There were about 12 acts. A Spice Girl was there, Lara Fabian, Brian McNight, 98 Degrees, Son By Four, Christina Aguillera, Marc Anthony, Destinys Child and yes, the dreaded Ricky Martin (and no, I wouldnt do this again, but let me tell you, he had the place on its FEET  ) Gloria Gaynor opened the show with her hit I Will Survive, and it was great! Imagine 20,000 people all singing that song at once  I left early to catch my train (and because I couldnt take Destinys Child~~And I LOVE Destinys Child. Go figure), so I missed Marc Anthony and the special surprise guests of Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson. Overall, it was something different, something to do once, but not again, unless, say, BonJovi or Springsteen were there ;)

(Then I won't mention that I'm going to Buffett and Aerosmith either :lookaroun )

I saw Buffett I think...two years ago? What a trip! Get there early and enjoy the parking lot!

Just for my own sanity (or that which remains) I must mention Yes as a group I really enjoy. I've seen them in concert a number of times. Great shows.

Pink Floyd Concerts - wow...I mean...wow. It's a spectacle.

You go to Buffet and I'll go to Aerosmith. :)

See Freak, now you have someone to go with you to both shows so you won't have to go alone. ;)
