I'm like everything about crazy and I just to have a good time. I heard it was good from my aunt and she talke me into make breakfast reservations.

Thanks for your help, though guys! I really appreciate it.

Are you staying at Wilderness Lodge? If not, will you have a car handy? Just make sure you give yourself the time necessary to get there, especially if those breakfast reservations are early...

It's our favorite place for breakfast! The all you care to eat skillet is :slurp:
We have eaten lunch and dinner there as well and have never been disappointed. Yes it's a bit loud, but that is the atmosphere of the Lodge...relax & have a good time! Only once have we ever made a reservation there (for a party of 9), most times we just wander over and get a table (so you may have to wait a few minutes, big deal).

We have seen people "shot" for not liking their food, kids marched to the kitchen for not cleaning their plates and so much more! If you are the type who wants to go in and eat your meal in peace then this place is not for you, but if you like fun, laughter and stick pony races then head right on in!

Both of my kids have certificates for being in the clean plate club

I am going to Disney World for my birthday in February and my dad said that I have to eat somewhere I've never eaten before. So my aunt told me about Whispering Canyon, and I just wanted to know how it is. I've read mixed reviews about it and I'm not sure if I wanna go there or not.

I think it matters how you feel about hoop dee doo

Have dined at WCC twice ... Enjoyed the "experience" both times!!

Food was delicious. I did NOT get the Skillet I ordered the Chicken & Penne which was very good .... the rest of my family ordered the Canyon Skillet which was refilled multiple times so I assume they enjoyed it. No one left hungry!

A friend of ours is a Chef there

YUM..We LOVE Whispering Canyon! Never had breakfast there, though that picture is making me wonder why... but have enjoyed several dinners, 2 Thanksgiving Day dinners. Lot's of fun and laughs, no matter how old our kids get they still love it. And the food is delicious! Oh the cornbread.............

WC is on my reservations list! We've never eaten there and it sounds hilarious!! I know my kids will ask for ketchup even without being hinted to by me and we HAVE to order a milkshake and something of the nature of a large coke. I have seen so many funny things from what people have put into their trip reports and I can't wait! I love that zany sort of thing.

Yep, we loved it!! I'm actually glad you referenced HdD because it gives me a better idea.

fun experience

If you go for breakfast try asking to sit in MT's section, she is very funny. At dinner ask to sit in Senor Dusty Trails (Sergio) section, as he is a fun experience also!!!:

My family enjoys that restaurant. I think it might be more fun with the younger kids, so they can do the horse roundup thing with the hobby horses. But it is really fun....no other restaurant like it! :ROFLOL:

we have gotten the "large coke" on several trips, always when we have asked for a refill. The first time this happened they made such a huge deal of it, our waiter was "Tiny"-not sure if he is still there but he was great.
