Carey Poppins - Nanny and Disney Enthusiest
Hey All,

The DH and I are planning on taking a tour this year. We've never taken one before! :sohappy: We are looking at either Keys to the Kingdom or the Backstage Magic tour. Price isn't the issue - but rather - is the 7 hour tour with the additional money? We are not crazy about Whispering Canyon so that is not a huge draw, but I do like that we could get to see all 4 parks. Just now sure if it is worth the additional $$$. If you've taken either of these tours, please let me know your thoughts, opinions, experiences. And both state you get a "special surprise" at the end. Is that to see Mickey?? Any and all info is greatly appreciated!!!

Have you looked into the Segway tours? My family took the Epcot one a few years ago and loved it, and DH and I are doing the FW one in February. Can't wait!

After reading the reviews and looking at the info, I think we are going to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour!!! I'm excited! I think this is more what we want. 7 hours at all 4 parks with the Backstage Magic tour doesn't give you a lot of time at each park for the $200/person price. But for $65 for Keys to the Kingdom at one park, I think you get your monies worth for sure. I'm excited! Thanks for all of your help!

Hi: I have done both tours and the Backstage Magic twice. You cannot compare the tours. Backstage Magic is amazing. You will visit many of the central service building off site (Flower Shop, Paint Shop, Construction Shop, Repair,Christmas). We were given a complete tour of the costume shop in both Epcot and MGM. Backstage Magic is more of "How the Magic Comes Alive from Backstage). The Keys to the Kingdom tour is also a great tour, but goes over more detail of the Magic Kingdom. Both are wonderful!
