I would say Wilderness Lodge Villas. Great theming. Ferries to Magic Kingdom. Walking distance/short bus ride to Fort Wilderness, which has incredible non-theme park Disney-ish things to do. Out of all the DVC resorts, the Wilderness Lodge Villas feel the most "disneyish" to me.
But really, they all have something great to offer. Beach Club & Boardwalk are close to each other, not to mention Swan & Dolphin & Yacht Club. So not only are you within walking distance to all those resorts, with all the amenities and resturants they have to offer...NOT ONLY are you by the Boardwalk, with their old-school boardwalk games & Jellyrolls & Atlantic Dance Club, you're also walking distance to Epcot, and a short ferry ride to The Studios. And at the Beach Club Villas, you have th ebest resort pool available (and it's not open to outside guests).
Meanwhile, staying at OKW or SSR, they both have ferries & walkways to Downtown Disney/Pleasure Island, if you or your party loves the nightlife and gots ta boogie, but the resorts themselves are pretty quiet and serene.
Later this year, my wife and I are spending 6 nights in a Wilderness Lodge Studio, followed by 3 nights in a 1 bedroom villa in OKW. I may try to switch the Wildnerss portion of the trip to Beach Club Villas (we're big on Epcot, and their sandy-bottom pool looks awesome), but we've also gone to WDW quite a bit lately, and we don't have kids, so being so close to the MK isn't that big a deal, especially being so close to two parks (and mini golf). But if we do stay at WLV, I'm not gonna complain at all. We'll spend at least one night at Fort Wilderness, doing the campfire, at least one of the outdoor movies (and O.D. on Smores), and see the water parade. Either way, it's gonna be suh-weet.
