Which Value to choose?

:veryconfuWe stayed at Pop several years ago and loved it!! The only drawbacks were the crowded buses and being the last bus stop exiting MK. Should I try AS this year or stick with Pop?
We are going Sept.26-Oct.3.

I have heard that the busses for the AS are worse do to all three resorts sharing one bus. But, I have only stayed at POP so I may have bad information.

Sports was great when I went in January (food isnt that good though). The only drawback was the cheerleading competition that came 2 nights before I left, they were loud all night long and I complained!

Im staying at Pop in 2 weeks, im looking forward to it.

I prefer Sports to Pop. Most people are going to tell you to stick with Pop, but I like the layout and rooms better at Sports. I've never had an issue with bus service either. :shrug:

Pop's my favorite value. But it's always fun to try something new.

I loved All Star Music! It's got the best pool in my opinion(3 Caballeros), and the flow of the resort(front to back design) worked best for me. Have Fun!!

I have only stayed in Pop and Movies although in September I will be staying in Music. Over Pop and Movies though I prefer Pop. You may want to check the availability for Pop before you try to weigh the pros and cons. I was trying to Book for Sept 17-27 but they were all booked up so I went with Music. Good Luck to you!

I always heard Pop was better because it had it's own bus, whereas the AS resorts shared buses between the 3 resorts. If it were me choosing, I would take Pop based on that, plus the theming is great, and you've had a good experience there.

They do not always share buses. During slower periods they do and in the middle of the day, they will occasionally share a bus. :wave:

We've stayed at all 4 value resorts. Don't ever plan to go back to one of the AS. Not that we didn't like them. My wife prefers AS Mo to Sports or Music. I like Pop. At the AS there have been times we've had to really hunt for a table or even stand around & wait for a few minutes at the food courts. Never had a problem finding a table at Pop. Even though Pop has more rooms then any one of the AS, the walking distances are not noticeable longer. Plus its a nice walk along Hourglass Lake or out onto the bridge at night and you can see the fireworks at Epcot from Pop.
However, if you looking for discounted rooms you have better luck at Sports or Music than at Movies or Pop.

As far as value resorts go, I have stayed at both Movies and Music and will be staying at Pop at the end of Sept. I enjoyed staying at both of the all star resorts, but I was say that all 3 all stars share buses and they can get very crowded. I found it to be annoying that the buses were always so packed. And at night when all you do it want to get back to your resort to have to stop at the other all stars.

If you can deal with that, I say go for one of the All Stars, but be prepared to stand come and going from the parks.

I would stick w/ POP.
It has it's own buses - the other values share.
It would take awhile to get from the other values to the MK also, so I would go w/ POP.

I've stayed at all three AS resorts and also Pop. Pop is by far our favorite - bus service is the biggest "pro" for us. I also think the food court is better at Pop, although the theming isn't as much fun as the AS resorts.

We have stayed at ASSp. Great hotel but hated the foreign baseball teams staying there. They were disrespectful and rude.

We have also stayed at ASMu. Great hotel and the family suite was amazing but we had a lot of little problems. The hotel itself was so much fun and the staff were great, though.

Our fav value is Pop. It was fun, clean and vibrant. Buses were fine for us, but it was 07'.

We Stayed at the AS Movies in Feb 06' and the busses were awful!
It was usually standing room only since they go to all 3 resorts - and we were the last stop usually picking up and dropping off it was nuts. Nice enough resort but it was the main reason we went for a moderate the next time we went, to have our own bus. It was much better!

Never been to the POP but heard that had 1 bus.. so thats my vote.

JMO however:)
