It was originally called Le Cellier Buffeteria. I know this is opposite, but Canada really needs a Quick service of somesort, its the only WS pavillion with out one other than Italy. Something themed to a fur trapping lodge of somesorts...

MK - El Pirata y el Perico (With really good Mexican food) , Diamond Horseshoe
Tomorrowland Terrace (Great Pan Asian food)

Epcot - Odyssey (Serving Molecular Gastronomy styled food), I would love to see a restaurant serving Cajun food at the American Adventure, Also I agree with
the poster above a QS is needed in Canada.

DHS - You would need to get a really good QS option before I would make a suggestion. Yes I do enjoy Backlot Express and Starring Rolls but I feel they serve their purpose.

DAK - Like DHS I feel the QS are good for what they are, Although I do think another TS option would be nice being that they are limited.

Resorts - I think they should reopen the TS restaurant at POFQ.

There are numerous WS pavilions without QS. I believe Norway,Morocco,Germany,China and Japan to name a few do not any.

Well, Norway has the Kringla Bakeri, Morocco has the Tangierine Café, Germany has Sommerfest, China has the Lotus Blossom Café and Japan has the Yakitori House. But you're right, there are some pavilions without a quick service option. Italy and Canada have none, and Canada doesn't even have a small drinks and dessert kiosk like Italy has.

I'm going to break the rules and go the other direction, with a table service I'd love to see become a quick service. I think a gourmet steak sandwich from a Le Cellier quick service would be phenomenal.

ooohh and being able to walk up and get a to go cup of cheddar cheese soup...sigh.

I also will submit one going in the other direction. I would like to see Beaches and Cream go to CS. It is ineffective as a TS, as you can't make ADRs and the place is fairly small, s owaits are always long. There is a ton of seating area outside the place. Why not let ne order onew of these famous burgers at the counter like I can the ice cream?

As far as the original question, I have a couple. The CS in the America Pavilion. Don't we have enough QS places that offer this type of food in the WDW already? Is it really "Country-Unique" enough to represent the USA in World Showcase? Can't we, as a country, do better than that? Can you think about the variety on the TS menu that the Great Melting Pot of the World (hey, that would be a good name for it) could offer?

Next, I think they should make the space occupied by roaring forks into a TS at WL. As a guest, I am not always going to be in the mood for the "service" at WCC or the higher end dining of Artist Pointe. Seems there is a bit of a gap there. Secondly, I personally think Roaring forks is the worst QS on WDW property I have experienced, and I think they need to start over and make a better and larger one with more selection anyway.

I've always thought they missed a golden opportunity with Pizza Planet. They could make that into a full-service restaurant with the arcade area (along the lines of a Dave and Buster's). They could even have the Toy Story characters there and make it a character meal.

The fact that the current Pizza Planet looks NOTHING like the one in the movies is just bizarre.

Move this over to Golden Horseshoe Review with a small stage show played throughout the meal.

Agreed!

Totally agree on both points!!!

We have always said that the American pavilion needs a good TS offering!!!

I even like your suggestion for the name!

The problem is that food places are in such short supply in many places. Everywhere is very crowded and by making a place table service you remove capacity, and usually, the kitchen will not be set up for more complex, and better, food.

Now, saying that, MK has a GLUT of closed or mostly closed counter service locations, and I think the biggest one and the one with the most opportunity is the Adventureland Verranda. I think it'd be a great location to get some more exotic options in the park.
