I say it is MK, especially since you can just jump on the monorail at Epcot and go over there. So even if it is geographically farther, it's still "closer" in regards to the speed with which you can get there from the Epcot resort area. But I tend to think that it is geographically closer as well.
The reason I am curious is because on of the assistant managers at work is planning on going in May, and she's been reading up on WDW (passporters and Birnbaums specifically), as well as asking me questions. She swears up and down that according to the map in the back of the unofficial guide, Animal Kingdom is close to Epcot area and MK is way out in the boonies. She's staying in the Swan or Dolphin and to quote what she said yesterday: "Epcot is right here, MGM is right there, Animal Kingdom is over there and way, way down there is DisneyLand". :ROFLOL:
I may not have got the exact quote correct, but I am quoting word for word on the DisneyLand part.
So just to settle any curiosity, am I correct that MK is closer in all respects, or is Animal Kingdom techincally a closer distance to the Epcot area?
