5th gate? Just build a new resort Bob.
As a person with zero nostalgia around it, I don't find Pirates of the Caribbean at WDW to be interesting in any way.

It's gotta be either PoC or SM. SM the coaster itself has felt like a mediocre carnival-level coaster to me for awhile, the improved queue didn't do anything to change the ride, but I admittedly haven't been on in a long time. The last 2 times I rode, I sustained some nasty neck strain/muscle pull from the way it whips you around in the dark without any support.

PoC I love but the projection faces of Blackbeard and Jones are just terrible. The only thing I dislike about Sparrow being in the scenes is that his animatronics and character are so much more up to date than the environment that he looks out of place. I don't know which I'd go with more... probably SM but either is a good argument...

Space Mountain, for the track alone. JIIwF isn't even the same ride. Everest is too new and the coaster track itself is still good, even though we'll likely never see a moving Yeti again. Not sure why Pirates is even listed, to be honest.

Have I told you lately that I 👍 you?

I can think of three reasons: 1) Jack Sparrow retheming, 2) auction scene, 3) chase scene

My vote goes to 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea!

As has been mentioned, I don’t feel like JII should count because it’s not the same ride as the original E ticket. The problem with Pirates isn’t that it’s aged, it’s just that the changes are bad. I definitely get why people are frustrated with it, but I don’t think that makes it dated. Everest is still yeti-less, but is otherwise fine.

With that, I have to go with Space Mountain. I hope the addition of Tron nearby won’t distract from the fact that SM needs a serious facelift.

Figment is downgrading is through both a physical, botched turn table never restored and theme change that was only partially fixed. Figment is still beloved despite Disney attempts to cremate.

I fail to understand how Everest has aged poorly even if the Yeti isn't working. If it was working, I don't think it would make that big of a difference.

As much as I love it, Space Mountain's technology has not aged very gracefully. A good refurbishment would be nice but not likely in the near future.

Also, Journey Into Imagination was a bad ride right out of the gate. I don't think that necessarily makes it dated. On the other side of it, Space Mountain's CONCEPT is not dated. The execution is what it is dated. In Disneyland, Space Mountain holds up fine because the technology is better over there on the attraction.

They all have their problems... But Imagination isn't even worth going on anymore while the other three, arguably, are.

Could you please explain this to my wife, we have to ride it on each visit to the park, even when we visit the park two or three times during that stay. Know don't get me wrong, as a character I love Figment, but I don't need this "ride" to love him.

Yeah I don't get it... There's much love for the original ride, sure. But this new one they crammed in its place? Ugh. And the post-show is truly embarrassing; worn out and barely functional. 🤷‍♂️
