Which days to Attend Parks

Ok. We're going to WDW Dec. 13 - 19 (Saturday to Friday). How can I find out which days are best to attend which parks for lighter crowds? I would like to better plan my days around this.

The only rule I can offer is to avoid the Magic Kingdom on Mondays.
People travel on the weekend and the first park they want to do is the MK so everyone heads there on Monday.

The Park Hopper option is your friend.

Good luck.

Look at TouringPlans.com.

The site will show you expected crowd levels and which parks to attend for one month free of charge. If you wish to go ahead and view the dates of your trips now, you have to either hold the current the issue of The Unofficial Guide to WDW or pay for a subscription to the site.

The information is very accurate. Len and The Unofficial Guide group do an excellent job of keeping up with the current crowd levels and attendance trends.

I used the Touringplans list for our last trip and it was dead on. The days they said would be crowded at MK...were crowded. Those that they said would not be crowded...weren't.

And the big thing is if you are off-site, AVOID the extra magic hours parks at all costs.

Have Fun!

I used the advice on TouringPlans.com for our last visit. On the first couple of days we stuck to their advice and everything went very well - quite pleased with crowd levels during Spring Break. On our third day I decided we were going to go to AK despite being classed as a 'Worst Park'. I wish we didn't. We spent a couple of hours there, did very little (although we did get to meet Wes Palm!), got agitated by the crowds and eventually left for a 'Best Park' (Epcot) for a much nicer experience.

Bottom line is that I won't follow any touring plan to the letter but I will always take a list of 'Best Parks' and 'Worst Parks'

check out the dates you will be there on disneys web page

we check out the calander for each park on Disney' s web page.
(WDW resorts, click on a park , then click on calander and the month you will be there)
For example tuesday Magic Kinddom is open late (extra magic hours)
so we will be there that day.(each day of the week a park stay open late)
You can also see refurb and closed rides. Some are closed the whole month, but a couple will be closed for the first two days of our trip, so we will go to that park later in the week to catch our favorite ride.

You also can see whe special events that starts and ends in that month.
Example: the food and wine fest will be ending in the middle of the week we are there, so we will go to EPCOT before it ends to get some good food.
