I am on the 8PM dining rotation.. someone told me I will miss all the shows because I chose the later dining.. is this true??
Not true at all. The shows are put on twice every night to work with each dinner seating. On occasion there are even 3rd afternoon matinee performances.I am on the 8PM dining rotation.. someone told me I will miss all the shows because I chose the later dining.. is this true??
Agreed. However, I would say that it might be worth your time to go see the first 15 minutes, just to see the great set and costumes. Definitely leave before Sid's "Master of Disaster" song.Only someone who hasn't seen "Toy Story - The Musical" yet, can say that they are all great.
What about Aladdin? I've heard good things, I guess I'll find out in a few days!
I really like the Aladdin show. I was sick as a dog three weeks ago, yet this is the one show that I went to see on the Fantasy. My favorite (and I've made no secret about this) is the original version of The Golden MIckeys. But Aladdin is terrific, too.Aladdin at Disneyland is amazing. Amazing. On the cruise ship it didn't quite live up the first time. But I have to say the second time I saw it I enjoyed it more. They worked out the kinks and found their groove I think.

Absolutely not. I was on late dining (and will be again), and I liked it because you get dressed, go to the show, and then you're already dressed for dinner and can take as long as you like to eat without worrying about making showtime.
We've also had the chance to meet and get to spend some time with the stage performers on a DCL cruise. We did a shore excursion in Europe with a couple of the performers and ended up at the same table for lunch with one of them. As you might expect, they were all friendly, great to talk to, and didn't seem to mind being just one of the regular folks.I was on the Fantasy two weeks ago and met the 3 leads and they were super-duper awesome and friendly and magical.

I can't help you there. But my wife and I sailed to Hawaii on the Grand Princess. We're 47, and we felt like we were the youngest people on the ship.I always wonder what that's like, on a ship where pretty much everyone else is a younger person
