I would to see more retro stuff like the retro Epcot shirts they have. I would like to see more from other old Epcot pavilions and the other parks (can't do much with DHS due to name change).

Hollywood STUDIOS

How about some Disney Art Deco style things to compliment the terrific Deco facades :sohappy: Duckberg

I picked Haunted Mansion! Who doesn't want to buy a big ol' Eddie Murphy doll!?!?

jk
but i think some cool scary toys and HM ride related things should be for sale.

HM all the way, baby. I want to get a shirt that says on the front, "Of course, there's always my way..." And on the back it has the ghost host hung on a noose. That would be awesome.

Jesus.... I'd have to say....

Dinosaur. There seems to be nothing besides some generic dinos and cross resort stuff. I want some bad ______ stuff! Dinoland Institute tshirts!

Can I pick all those attractions?

Seriously, I'd love to see more of all it! TTA would be awesome - it would be on my "must buy" list!

More HM stuff too. My kid is so into that attraction right now!

I think Haunted Mansion needs a dedicated store. The whole gypsy cart idea is neat, but a crypt themed store would be so cool.

So much can be done with the Haunted Mansion that I think Disney misses out on a wonderful opportunity. The many different aspects that you encounter throughout the ride leaves open an amazing amount of T-shirt ideas.

I chose BTMRR, but I didn't see TTA. I would have picked that. Also, I assume Space Mountain will get merchandise following the refurb, so I didn't pick that one.

WDW as a whole deserves better quality merch, but I voted HM on this list here. "Retro" would have been my second pick though.

Here's a tip for Disney if they want to get more money from me: Think outside the box, and maybe listening to your fans instead of asuming what they want.

Cheap off-model character clip art on a coffee mug or pin will not get my attention. Effort put on different concepts and using the huge stock of available characters will.

I bought a pin for "Bosses Day" once not because I'm particularly fond of that meaningless holiday but because it had Creeper and The Horned King from The Black Cauldron on it. How often do you see them or that film on anything?

I would think that the individuals paid by Disney to design merch are knowledgeable and skilled enough to come up with some decent concepts, so it might be a good idea to let them experiment (like with those Mr. Toad shirts) instead of telling them to do more pink faded Daisy Duck mugs all the time.

Also, if anyone has a photo of the new Jungle Cruise shirt, please post it!

There it is. My Patron Margarita is covering the hippo, but you get the gist.

And as for the poll, it is most definitely JC. The ride doesn't even have a pin. Not one.

EDIT: Can anyone else see the pic? Because it isn't showing up on my computer.

I chose JC because I have never seen one bit of merchandise for it. But I am VERY excited by this shirt, and will have to search for it when I go down in a week. If anyone could get the pic to show that would be fabulous!

I think one of the things Disney (or at least Disney Merchandising) hasn't quite grasped is that to many fans the rides themselves are characters, as beloved as Mickey, Pooh, and Buzz Lightyear. They don't need to shoehorn in a face character to make it marketable, because the classic rides already have a built-in recognition.

Now, I don't think that segment of the fanbase is as large as the one that just wants a generic Mickey Mouse shirt or one that says Walt Disney World 2009 but how could anyone know for sure, because Disney has never really tried marketing the rides themselves. Even the tiny few ride-specific merchandise items they typically offer shows them hedging their bet by plastering characters all over it.

I don't see why it would be so hard to run a series of items that used the attraction poster art. Those are all pretty iconic images and those artists knew how to sum up an attraction that was boldly visual and deceptively simple. Most of the items I see, where they are actually offered, are either too busy or too cutsey for my taste.

Splash Mountain or Carousel of Progress! TTA would be a good one too. Or that saying in spanish that it said on the monorail....maybe they already have that, but I love it!
