It's hard to choose between the Future World attractions we lost. Imagination, Horizons and World of Motion were all so wonderful. I do massively prefer SSE '94 to its present incarnation, but at the very least it's still a great ride underneath the mess and very recognizable as SSE. I can't imagine restoring SSE would take much time, money or effort compared to everything else we lost. But either way I still enjoy it to some extent in spite of the elements they've ruined. Not something I can say about the attractions that replaced the other three...

It's hard to choose between Imagination, Horizons and World of Motion, I voted Imagination and Horizons but it's almost a three way tie.

I will say that being objective, Imagination 1.0 would require the least amount of alteration to function as a "new" attraction (beyond just general tech upgrades to animatronics, lighting and projectors). It didn't rely on predicting the future, it's rather timeless in comparison to the rest of EPCOT. So Imagination would be the best suited for. World of Motion also maintained a mostly timeless feel throughout most of the ride, only the ending scenes delved into futurism. If they brought WoM back then you'd really only have to alter the ending scenes to fit with more modern ideas of transportation (and a substantial amount was video if I recall correctly).

Horizons is a favorite, but it would require a lot of effort and a substantial amount of change to remain relevant and not feel outdated. A huge part of the ride (half at least if not more) was dedicated entirely to peaking into the future, specifically what the early 80's thought the future would be like. A fair amount of that is very outdated and would probably need a change. If it were to return, i'd like them to take some time to upgrade those parts of the ride. However, I would argue a New Horizons is what EPCOT needs at this point given the stagnation Future World has suffered from during the past, there aren't really any rides left that live up to the Future World name. I've heard that before Mission Space was approved, they were planning on a huge overhaul for Horizons similar to SSE '94, would have been great to see what it would have been like.

Being apart of the upcoming new Disney Generation, I chose the Original Test Track. I don't have any opinions upon the new update, aware I cannot judge until I try. However, there is no denying I won't miss what was apart of MY childhood. I loved it as a child, probably exclaiming it as my favorite ride. It most likely wont kick back to a atmosphere of nostalgia as it did before.

Though I never rode the original JI, it to me seems to be one attraction that would not be missed from my own childhood. I liked it for the purpose of annoying my family, but very little beyond so. And now having discovered what the original was like, I absolutely understand the rage that exists behind its change. It was so well focused on the idea of imagination and what imagination contains, and not on the concept of telling the more or so definition. I am honestly infuriated by the fact that it was never apart of my trips to disney, so I could have genuinely wanted to ride it.

Which of the listed options would you MOST like to see brought back or reimplemented into WDW? I'm not saying any of them ever will, but it would be nice.
you are MISS 20000 leagues under the Sea.. that's the first thing that needs to come back..

I picked JII and Horizons, not only because they were great attractions but because most of this forum would be over the moon.

The original Test Track can stay gone, IMO. I can see why not everyone loves the new one, but at the same time, it says "Future World" more now than before. Never mind the aesthetics...the rider learns, if only briefly, about the process of engineering the next great vehicle of tomorrow and why each element of the process is so important. Is it worth putting in the plasma burner for more power if it'll take away some efficiency? Will the car look meaner with more windshield rake or a different-looking grille? Those wheels look really nice, but will they improve the handling?

While I would not like the actually want to bring back the originals attractions back... I would want the original concepts back for Journey into Imagination, Horizons, and Maelstrom.

Give us an amazing version of Imagination with Dreamfinder and Figment
Give us a awe inspiring Horizons.
Give us a Norway ride that has to do with Norway.

Good point. It's been decades since these debuted; I'm sure the Imagineers could plus them with new technology and ideas if they tried. I love SpectroMagic and all, but if they wanted to do a new one, there's no way I'd want an exact 1:1 scale recreation...it'd be a huge missed opportunity.

As someone who is a former history teacher, and also a believer that Epcot was not meant to be "princessed" Maelstrom was my first choice and the most important one.

I am sooooo disappointed to see it gone, and when we are there this wednesday, it is going to be sorely missed.
