It's hard to choose between the Future World attractions we lost. Imagination, Horizons and World of Motion were all so wonderful. I do massively prefer SSE '94 to its present incarnation, but at the very least it's still a great ride underneath the mess and very recognizable as SSE. I can't imagine restoring SSE would take much time, money or effort compared to everything else we lost. But either way I still enjoy it to some extent in spite of the elements they've ruined. Not something I can say about the attractions that replaced the other three...
It's hard to choose between Imagination, Horizons and World of Motion, I voted Imagination and Horizons but it's almost a three way tie.
I will say that being objective, Imagination 1.0 would require the least amount of alteration to function as a "new" attraction (beyond just general tech upgrades to animatronics, lighting and projectors). It didn't rely on predicting the future, it's rather timeless in comparison to the rest of EPCOT. So Imagination would be the best suited for. World of Motion also maintained a mostly timeless feel throughout most of the ride, only the ending scenes delved into futurism. If they brought WoM back then you'd really only have to alter the ending scenes to fit with more modern ideas of transportation (and a substantial amount was video if I recall correctly).
Horizons is a favorite, but it would require a lot of effort and a substantial amount of change to remain relevant and not feel outdated. A huge part of the ride (half at least if not more) was dedicated entirely to peaking into the future, specifically what the early 80's thought the future would be like. A fair amount of that is very outdated and would probably need a change. If it were to return, i'd like them to take some time to upgrade those parts of the ride. However, I would argue a New Horizons is what EPCOT needs at this point given the stagnation Future World has suffered from during the past, there aren't really any rides left that live up to the Future World name. I've heard that before Mission Space was approved, they were planning on a huge overhaul for Horizons similar to SSE '94, would have been great to see what it would have been like.
