Where would you be right now?

It's 2:38pm at WDW, and since it's Christmas season I don't take my usual mid-day break (not hot enough to warrant it).
I'm probably in World Showcase trying to catch one of the many santas and doing some Christmas shopping, waiting for my Fastpass return time for Soarin' to open up.

Ok...it's around 30 degrees here in Pennsylvania, the wind is howling, there is a coating of snow and ice on the ground, and all I can think about is my DW and I heading to Epcot for the Flower and Garden Festival in 153 more days.

Shivering right here with you in Center Valley near the Prominade. It doesn't matter what the temp is in FLA, I'd have a big smile waiting for Illuminations, watching the Christmas arches sync'ed to the music.

Amen brother! When I'm at WDW the little kid in me comes out and I'm way to happy to be cold. Besides, I'm a big guy and it's normal for me to walk the dog in a tee shirt like this morning at 33 degrees. By the way, the Prominade sort of reminds me of DTD. My wife and I just took a little girl from our church to the Rave on Friday to see Disney's "Enchanted"...that's when it really hit me.

Anyway...right now at 8:30 a.m. the MK would be open for EMH. I would be walking down Main Street USA, DW in hand, talking to my 2 college kids (LCCC & Kutztown) on my cell phone saying NA NA NA NA guess where we are...:king: It's good to be king!

I would be deciding where to catch lunch in Epcot, right before I tried to get onto Test Track...I've been thinking about that one alot over the last week!

I'd be on Main Street, sipping a diet coke and watching fireworks with my best friend :kiss:. If I could, I would do that every day, it would never get old....of course it is reality and I am in Indy, it is cold out and the dog is sleeping at my feet and my best friend...is asleep on the couch with the TV remote in his hand. Bless his heart, he's had a long day.

Good Morning

At 7:35 a.m. on this fine Friday morning I am imagining myself walking through the grounds of SSR, coffee in my right hand, newspaper under my left arm, looking for a place to read my paper. I probably just nodded to a fellow DVC member and said good morning with a big smile on my face. I’m smiling because I know what the day holds for my DW and I…more magical memories to make.:wave:

Instead I'm looking out of my office window at a 32 degree PA morning chocked full of ice and snow. Oh well...only 149 more days until the old family truckster heads down the driveway and hits the highway bound for Wally World...I mean WDW...I watch too many movies.

Alrighty, it's 11am on Friday. My DH and I are at the MK heading over to Fantasyland to see what attractions we can get on. This usually results in the Carrousel or possibly the teacups. Afterwards we make our way to Tomorrowland to grab a snack.

*sigh* I wish I hadn't just gotten back on Sat.

Well it is Friday at 1:00pm where I am. So let's assume this was the week of my trip. We are leaving on a Friday and are due to arrive in Orlando at 12:55pm, so I would be picking up luggage, getting my rental car and pulling out of the Orlando airport, rolling down my windows and smelling that beautiful Florida warm air and we would all be laughing out loud because we would be so happy and excited!

I'd be somewhere in Epcot. Probably would have Fastpassed and ridden soarin' by now, and might have done Test Track and/or Mission: Space, too. Maybe taking an obligatory ride on Imagination...or somewhere in The Land or The Seas. I'd be getting readdy to venture into World Showcase, probably hitting Canada first to see the new film which I have yet to see.

Its 35 degress here right now. Being anywhere in Florida would be welcome right about now! :lol:

On our upcoming April trip, at this time on Saturday evening, I'm honestly not quite sure where I'll be. We're doing Disney's Hollywood Studios that day and probably doing the 8 PM showing of Fantasmic. Although it's possible that we'll be there until closing at 10 PM, it's doubtful, but if we are, we would be on the way back to our resort at this time. So at this time on that day, we may be back at our resort, we may be playing mini-golf, or doing something else.

And just out of curiosity, I am interested in knowing how many of the people who post in this thread answer according to what they actually plan to be doing on that date and time on their next trip as opposed to those who simply answer according to where they, at this particular moment, would most like to be right now at WDW? Either way is fine, I guess, but I am just curious who all falls into which category.

I always post as If I were there at that exact moment in time when I'm writing my post. At least that is how I thought everyone else would post when I started this thread. It's a mental break away from your every day life....a mind trip to WDW if only for a breif moment in time. For me it's not a plan for a future trip. That's just as much fun as what we are doing here, and I will be doing that for my upcomming trip in May. An example is as follows:

Ahhhh...it's now Christmas Eve morning...I would be having breakfast right now at Chef Mickey's, and then we would head to the MK via the monorail...
