Where to stand to see Tink fly?

So, last trip we viewed the Spectro parade in Liberty Square and then tried to hustle over to the hub for Wishes, only to find it packed (of course now we know this is a "duh", but it was our first time to view Wishes.)

I argued that we should have gone behind the castle and tried to squeeze onto the Tomorrowland bridge to see Tink's "flight" better. DH says no way can you make it from Liberty Tree Tavern to the Tomorrowland bridge in enough time to see Wishes.

Anyone have any tips on this one?

I'm thinking our best bet is to already be in front/ to the right of the castle for Spectro and then just squeeze our way toward Tomorrowland. Tink lands on Stich's Great Escape right?

You can probably see Tink fly best from in front of the castle all the way back to the start of the buildings on Main Street and from the hub towards Tomorrowland

Tink lands behind Main Street, in an area that guests can't see. They showed us her landing place on our KttK tour. Your best bet is somewhere in front of the castle. It will look packed, but there's always room somewhere. I agree with Captain - go further back to the start of the buildings.

We tend to view Wishes from the Tomorrowland bridge on some occasions. I know when we saw Holiday Wishes, Tink made her flight. We were standing on the bridge close to the Tomorrowland entrance with the Noodle Terrace almost right behind us. When she flew over, she was to our left and we saw her just fine. :) Actually managed to catch it on video too!

Oh, and making it from Liberty Tree Tavern to the Tomorrowland bridge isn't too bad. You can cut across the front of some of the shops and weave your way through the Hub to the bridge.

I've heard you can see her fly when you are at CRT...is this true...if so that would be great, we have a late seating. Just tell me where to look
I would say you heard incorrectly.

Tink flies from near one of the spires at the top of the Castle, and from there goes roughly south or south-southeast, towards the backstage area to the right (east) of Main Street ... to the right of Main Street if you are coming from the park entrance. Anyway, my point is that the CRT windows face to the north, towards the Carrousel and Fantasyland, NOT towards Main Street. I can't imagine how Tink's flight may be visible from CRT. Some fireworks perhaps, but not Tink and her flight.

We found a great Tink spot quite by accident. We scoped out a great Wishes spot, and the Tink thing was just a bonus, but a great bonus!

Picture walking down Main Street. PASS BY the walkway that leads to the Tomorrowland Terrace area. Cross over the bridge over the water, and now you're in the Hub. DO NOT go as far as the Tomorrowland bridge. Just before you enter the circular blacktop around the Hub, you'll see a popcorn cart on the right, and a small path in front of it ... the path connects to the Tomorrowland bridge, and is lined on both sides by a black iron railing.

Anyway, the thing that makes a few spots along this path great Wishes spots is that in at least 2 places there is a small alcove created by the railing. This does 2 things for you ... it not only lets you stand out of the way of moving traffic (people trying to walk by), but it also puts you up against a railing with grass on the other side, grass that has a railing around it everywhere, meaning NO ONE CAN STAND OR WALK IN FRONT OF YOU, meaning you have an unobstructed view of the Castle and the sky for Wishes.

From here, you can almost see Tink's eye color when she flies by.

If you're trying to get from Liberty Square to the Tomorrowland Bridge right before fireworks time, it's probably best to avoid the Hub altogether.

Make a beeline for the Crystal Palace using the bridge behind the Christmas shop (which brings you near the entrance to Adventureland) and then the bridge to the CP. Make your way over to Main Street. This area on Main Street near Casey's is a great place to watch the fireworks, or you can continue on, cross Main Street (probably the most crowded place you'll have to weave through). Then loop around through the Tomorrowland Terrace and approach the Tomorrowland bridge coming from the Tomorrowland side.

Using this route, I could probably make it from Sleepy Hollow to the Tommorrowland Bridge in 10 minutes or less.

Also, if you do decide you'd want to loop through Fantasyland, be aware that the walkways to the back of the castle (the one from Sleepy Hollow and the one past the wishing well) are closed before and during Wishes, as it's a fallout area from the rooftop fireworks. You'd have to loop WAY around past Columbia Harbor House, through all of Fantasyland, and then out the bridge by Cosmic Rays.

I second Rob's route, but you don't have to try and get all the way to the Tomorrowland bridge. Just use his route to get as far as the area in front of the Plaza Inn Restaurant, if you can you can try to get to the Rose Garden just in front of that area, but to do that you have to push into to hub a bit. Just find a spot at Plaza Inn that doesn't have a lot of trees between you and the castle. Tink almost flies right towards you and you're far enough back to see the whole fireworks show. Tomorrowland bridge is too close to the castle to see the whole show if you ask me and Plaza Inn will take a lot less time to reach from Liberty Square.

Tomorrowland Bridge.:D It's amazing.

I agree. My usual viewing location is the Hub end of the Tomorrowland bridge, in the viscinity of the Mickey and Minnie topiary near the Rose Garden entrance. (usually on the side of the walkway away from the castle)

But if I'm with a first-timer, I think it's best to watch as centered as possible on Main Street, somewhere between Casey's and the bridge over the Hub waterway.

Here's a strange answer... how about a great place to watch Tink but just an "ok" place to watch the fireworks? LOL... a few weeks ago, by accident, we ended up sitting at Noodle Terrace eating ice cream just before Wishes was about to start. We were comfortable so we stayed there and watched the fireworks. We were all surprised when Tink flew right over our heads!

It's only a so-so place to watch the fireworks because 1) you're not looking at the castle head-on (so the fireworks appear to the side of the castle, not behind it) and 2) they leave the lights on in Noodle Terrace (wish they didn't!) so you can't see the fireworks quite as well.

Still a comfortable place to watch, and a great place to see Tink!
