My family is trying to decide on our ADR's for our August trip. Our 90 day mark is only two weeks away!!

My first ? is about Kona for breakfast, we don't normally eat breakfast out but would like to try Kona. Is their breakfast worth it? Or should we pass and make a different ADR somewhere else for lunch or dinner?

Second ?: Would you choose Ohana's or Raglan Road for dinner? We would like to try them both but our limited to one or the other.

Last ?: Trying to decide where to eat when we go to AK. Since the park isn't open very late we're not sure if we will leave for a mid day break. We are either thinking of Yak and Yeti for lunch or a quick service lunch and Bomas for dinner after park closing.

Any help will be appreciated.

Havent tried Kona for breakfast yet. Will be going in June. But their dinner is awesome.

The breakfast at Ohana is great. Havent done dinner their yet but if its like the breakfast it should be great.

Yak & Yeti was good. Food selection was different and presentation and portions were good. Our CM was nice enough who served us but he was slow

We loved Kona for breakfast ans ate there 3 of the 7 days we stayed.
Haven't been to Raglan Road yet, but we loved Ohana's dinner :slurp:

Boma has become a must for us, the food was wonderful and the AKL is beautiful so don't forget to look around if you decide to go there.

Kona's breakfast is excellent! They have a dish called Tonga Toast that is truly amazing! I like all meals at Kona - it's my favorite restaurant. I don't think you can go wrong there at B/L/or D.

I would choose Ohana for dinner. The food is so good, and there's a lot of it. I went there last summer for the first time & was very impressed. I think you'll find a lot of positive reviews of it around here, it's very popular.

Yak & Yeti and Boma are both great choices. I would choose Boma if it were me. After park close, it will be nice to sit down & relax there. The environment/food/service are all top notch. It's another big favorite around here, that I have noticed.

You will never regret eating at Kona no matter what meal.

I have only eaten at Ohana and Raglan Road each once and both were fine, I know many people rave about both of them. I would say see what your plans are and which one fits in best.

We had really bad service at Yak and Yeti, IMO AK has some of the best counter service at WDW. Flame Tree BBQ and Pizzafari are both great, I would say eat at one of them and then have dinner after you leave.

Flame Tree BBQ for lunch overlooking the lake and EE; then over to AKL for dinner at Boma, the buffet is fab. Also check out Zawadi marketplace, the lobby and the savannahs, AKL is an attraction in itself. :)

TONGA TOAST at KONA is a MUST!!! Extra deep-fried goodness with silky bananas stuffed in the center which contrast the crispy crunchy exterior...and the fruit compote...just an amzing breakfast with a side of fried potatoes...not the healthiest meal in the world, but just walk around EPCOT a few hundred times to work it off.

HI!

Yes - i think Kona is worth if for bfast! We have never been but my DH is so excited about the Kona coffee, he can hardly stand it!!

2nd - I think both options are good for dinner - Raglan or Ohana. Personally, i'm a pub girl!! But I think both would be good options.

Last - I think Yak and Yeti is a must!!!! So good! You could do QS there and then head to AK Lodge for Boma for dinner. :slurp::slurp:

Just at the World 2 weeks ago so I'll share what we did

We ate breakfast at Kona and it was tasty - we were just going to pay out-of-pocket, but we knew we were already getting out money's worth out of the DDP so we canceled a dinner ressie and used the TS on breakfast

We also ate at Ohana which also was tasty, but I've never been to Reglan Road so can't comment there.

When we went to AK we had Yak & Yeti QS lunch and went to AKL for dinner at Boma. And depending on what resort you are staying at, I would agree that it's not worth the time to take a midday break since the park closes early.

I can add my two cents to the first two:

* Kona is indeed quite tasty, and the Tonga Toast is of course a minor WDW celebrity on its own. Portions are generous, and I loved getting the Kona coffee. You wouldn't be disappointed if you ate there. I don't know if you say whether you're staying at the POly, but if you are, then I'd say it's doubly worth doing.

* O'hana vs Raglan Road: I'd go with O'hana probably, although to be honest my meals at both places have been good, but not great. Nothing that would keep me from giving them another try though. I think it depends on what your day's plans are and what your general food preferences are.

Breakfast at Ohanas is pretty good, dinner there is awesome.

Raglen Road is not to bad for dinner either but if its a choice, Ohana's is where I would go.

T-Rex just opened in downtown disney. its pretty cool and the food is awesome.

You also have rainforest at AK
