Yeah, most laptops don't have them anymore. I think most desktops still do. My laptop is probably 5ish years old, and it doesn't have one. At first I thought it'd be a huge issue, but it hasn't been a problem.Wow, really? I don't think I have ever seen a desk top that didn't have a CD slot or even a laptop for that matter, but I can assure you that I am not a computer expert. It would seem foolish to not include that since there are so many things that are still in CD form. The only thing I ever heard about was the car and that was very recent and would need the other stuff to work. That would be like going backward in technology. Maybe that would be a good business opportunity to transfer CD's to memory card. It is a beautiful set up for car usage.
