Back when the Flyers won two Stanley Cups in a row the great ones were goalie Bernie Parent and coach Freddie (the Fog) Shero. Captain Bobbie Clark was pretty good too!The Great One. Eric Lindros or I suppose Ron Hextall is The Great One of the Flyers.

I have seen a few throwback jerseys at the games that say Clarke on the back of the jersey.

Although I was not alive to see Abraham Lincoln deliver his Gettysbugh Address....I am old enough to have been an elementary school kid when the Flyers won those Stanley Cups. After they won ....I got on my bicycle and rode thru the neighborhood shouting ( Paul Revere style) : " The Flyers have won the Stanley Cup! The Flyers have won the Stanley Cup!" Looking back at that I am amazed at how passionate I was about my hockey team.

They are winning the Cup this year and let me tell you why. They are winning it for Oskar Lindblom. Correct. Eric Lindris does not deserve to be considered equal with Wayne Gretzsky.

I agree 100%. Gretzky is The Great One of the NHL. Lindros and Hextall are The Great Ones of the Philadelphia Flyers.

The NHL has stopped the regular season and have the top 12 teams in both Conferences that finished at that point go into the playoffs. The Flyers being one of those teams. I believe since the Flyers have the 4th best record they will get a 1st round bye. Not 100% sure about that. I heard the 1st Round was to start sometime in July, but the teams started to practice and there were cases of Covid-19 arising on teams so I am not sure if they shut that down or not and it is in a delay period.
