Mike legit said to me last night - I’m sick of pizza.
I’m not sure how much pizza we had pre-COVID this year (once or twice max), but in the 15 weeks since lockdown, we’ve had pizza three times.
I don’t even like pizza that much, and I’m not sick of it.

Our crabapple tree never bloomed this year. The leaves have been turning yellow and black for weeks now. I think she’s done. Waiting for my tree guy to call me. Hoping it’s cheap. (The neighbours are putting their house up for sale. She already told me she doesn’t care what we do with it, but she’s not interested in splitting the cost.)
It’s not even July yet, and it’s lost at least 30% of its foliage.
Mike cut the grass and swept less than 24 hours ago. There was not a single leaf on the lawn or steps yesterday.
In other news, my hostas have never been so lush!

After seeing she posted an interesting article I gave it one last and final shot going with the words of those that told me not to give up.
Now I give up.
Overall though it’s a good thing I did it. Because now I don’t feel sorry for myself one bit. Clearly there’s no respect being shown and why involve myself with that. I’ve been nothing but nice.
