My mom and dad don't even buy DVD's anymore either. They just get them right off of the Amazon Prime account and we have our movies there on the T.V. just a click away to watch. We can also watch them on our phones if we want to. We also have also the Disney+ stuff on the T.V. and our phones.
I use Vudu and any DVD that I have I can digitize for $2 if they have them

That was my very first tv. 19”, weighed a thousand pounds, and cost about the same amount!

I bought it when I was 20, and it lasted a good 20+ years. To this day, it’s still the best picture in a tv I’ve ever owned.
I'll add on to this SONY Trinitron topic and share that we only have two tvs in our home (yes...one is a flat screen Smart TV). The tv that goes along with what MinneM and Jennifer are discussing is our 16 year old 32" SONY. It weighs a ton! It has a nice picture but truthfully I don't use it much. The other tv is 50" and has apps like Netflix, YouTube, and much more.20200606_121701.jpg20200606_121647.jpg

Those Trinitrons were like Sherman tanks -- indestructible. I think my parents had theirs a good 20 years as well.

I got a new TV either in the late 70's or early 80's. If I remember correctly it was an RCA, but I'm a little shaky on the make. It lasted a long time and it was my favorite one because the tuner was push button. When my girls were young they used to practically knock each other over to get to be the one to change the channel. Sort of living, breathing remotes.

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Against my better judgement, I put the office phone on call forwarding to my cell phone last weekend.

Since then, I’ve been getting calls from 7:00 am through to 11:00 pm.

Ummm nope. I have now attached a disclaimer to my email signature - Please feel free to call me between noon and 9:00 pm.

Boundaries people!

But did you check any of the voice messages I left you?? Your vehicle warranty isn't going to renew itself.

That's way passed the boundary of being inconsiderate. Unless they were calling from a country with a different time zone, then it's just being stupid.

Edit: Forgot it's being forwarded from a business line. Still annoying though.
Mike asked why I answered.

Short answer - It’s easier just to answer, take an email address and forward the price list, than it is to get up, listen to the message, write down the number, then call them ... all to then write down their email address and forward the price list.

But still.
