Wait. Who won?Alright, it's over. 6 hours and 16 minutes. Time for bed.
I'm sure it's an adjustment with new regulations and such. That's so weird that there's such a huge difference between the treatment of students at different hospitals. Are they very critical at this one, then? You'd think they'd want to be helpful, etc....someday the students could be their colleagues. It would be better to make it a comfortable environment for them to be in where they get the best possible experience.I’m still adjusting to being back and all the changes. My first day went well, but the rest of the week was more stressful. I have a lot to get done during the summer, and I’m behind on everything because of all the clinical time I missed last semester. I do enjoy what I do. The part I don’t like is having somebody watching over my shoulder to critique everything I do. That really stresses me out. The techs at my favorite clinical site really do a good job of making students feel more at ease. They really want us to succeed and they go out of there way to make us feel comfortable. Unfortunately, that hospital is still not letting students return. I’m hoping that changes soon. I’m sure I’ll be fine even if we don’t return there this summer. I’ll just have a lot more stress, but it’s definitely worth it.
I'm not one to idolize celebrities per-say, minus a few select exceptions. One of those select few, probably top of the small list, celebrates his 55th birthday today.
Anthony Melchiorri, host of shows such as Hotel Impossible, Extreme Hotels, and Five Star Secrets. A true legend in the hospitality/travel industry who has turned around countless hotels for the better over the course of his career, and coached how to run lodging properties correctly. I really admire his devotion to the industry and persistence in making sure things are done right.

If ever you get a chance to stream or watch any of those shows, I highly recommend it. Very informative on the behind-the-scenes of catering to the traveling public.
I have always been of the opinion that it is much, much easier to be brilliant if you have a script and a research staff and can stop filming as soon as you say something that is, let's say, less then brilliant. We all could seem like Einstein. Just one of the reasons why I just don't ever watch "reality" shows. They are the furthest thing from reality that can be. However, in the past few years reality has been just damned awful, so maybe a little make-believe reality is a useful tool to keep us all sane. It's way to late for me as I am well over the edge. He's brilliant, and has a "take no prisoners" approach. I've watched quite a few of his shows, and I'm always amazed at his expertise.

It’s now technically May 24th, which means it’s exactly 2 years ago today that Mike, @NYwdwfan and I saw Frozen on Broadway.
And just 10 minutes ago, I read on Twitter that it will not be re-opening at the St. James Theatre after this COVID pandemic is over.

Kellyn from Ghost Island.Wait. Who won?
Kellyn from Ghost Island.
One of the worst ones I've ever seen on Hotel Impossible was in the Orlando/Kissimmee area of all places. It had a nest of killer bees living near one of the balconies, mold in the corridors from past hurricanes, etc. The owner was oblivious to a lot of the problems and kept passing the "I did not know" excuse whenever Anthony tried to point things out.Sometimes the shows creeped me out a little with how some of the hotels were but that made me appreciate the hotels that I stayed at that were well run and had good cleaning/maintenance standards.

It was so bad, Anthony ended up pulling the plug on the project and decided to not try and help them further. Bad move on the owner's part. If you want your hotel to succeed, listen to what Anthony says, and most importantly, do what he recommends.
He does, and truly knows his stuff. I've watched a lot of his normal interviews before, like the one posted earlier, where it's not an episode being filmed and just Anthony sharing his stuff. He knows the industry.I think that Mr. Melchiorri really is an expert in his field, and probably also hires the brightest staff to work with him on these shows.

When you do clinicals, are you by yourself, or in a small group? Is everyone pretty much at the same level?
Shockingly, Chicken was not invited to play. Let me see if I can remember the cast off the top of my head...
I'd like to take a crack at the header question of Where in the world isn't Bob Saget? I definitely cannot tell you where Bob is, but I can with 100% tell you one place he isn't and that is on the set of Fuller House because the show is competed and he was never really a regular anyway. So I hope this clears up at least 1% of the mystery of where he isn't. Oh by the way he also isn't at my home.
