Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

There is a restaurant in Madrid called Botin Restaurant. It first opened it's doors back in 1725, and is the oldest restaurant in the entire world still in operation.

Among it's many tasty dishes is roasted suckling pig which is SO delicious, it was once mentioned in a Ernest Hemingway novel.

The restaurant is currently open for take-out only due to the coronavirus.

Well, earlier yesterday, around 4:05pm Madrid time, it was reported to the associated press that Bob Saget is not there either.

Front is done, but now I have big plans for the back yard. I’m looking for a tractor tire rim to build a fire pit. And I’m thinking a couple of fruit trees, and a couple of flower beds.

Mike is not impressed. He keeps saying it’s going to mess up his straight line grass cutting.

Looking good. Yard flamingos are very retro, so of course I like those.

We have a propane fire pit on the deck, but I want an old school backyard wood fire pit for Mike. When we had the camper, that was his favourite part of the day.

I think Ski and his friends would get good use of it too, if you know what I mean.
That will be nice for everyone...to burn wood or anything else they might like to burn :joyfull: .

We also have a propane one that we use all the time. Its perfect when you want to sit outside for an hour without any work or time commitment. I call it the lazy man's fire!

Keep in mind, just like the news media in the states has been doing, they are often using photographs that are from completely different time periods and places and trying to pass them off as current. Its hard to believe anything you see/read these days.

Very nice, however, I fear I have to let you know that the 50's called and want their plastic flamingos back.

@Nemo14 , how's the turkey population (birds, not people) in your area this spring? I'm only asking because yesterday and today I was hiking up a few trails on a small, local mountain. Both days I saw a wild turkey. I was in two separate, distant areas, so not the same bird I saw. Never seen turkeys before up there. 🤔

we've seen a few in the usual places. It's pretty neat to see them roost in the trees at dusk .

Nope, that was yesterday. It’s been all over the news since yesterday. The mayor is furious.
