I like Ernie, Cookie Monster, Oscar, Bert, The Count, and Big Bird. I don't know the other two either, and I tried to find them online but didn't see them. I'll use those 2 stamps on the bills I hate to pay the most! :p (Saving Ernie and Cookie Monster for a few family birthday cards coming up.) :happy:

Thank you for asking. I haven’t seen it since the first time he changed the bandaging 10 days ago.

He says there is some kind of funky nail growing on a very weird angle. I have no idea what he means. Back to the surgeon tomorrow for follow up, so we’ll know better then.

In the meantime, that finger has been completely bandaged 23h, 59m a day since 1/7. Surely it’s time to be unwrapped and exposed to air, no?

Oh man, I don’t want to be that guy, but as someone who married into a large Irish Catholic family ... it’s St. Paddy’s day.

My BIL Pat even has a t-shirt to that effect, but it’s NSFW. I’d post a pic of it, but I have enjoyed being demerit free for at least three years. 😉

My wife was half Irish, so my daughters are 1/4 Irish. I am usually the only one that ever wore green on St. Patty's day. I won't be doing that today because I don't have anything that is green to wear. I guess I'll get over it. However, I might be dining on a potato later on... does that count? I really wish my daughters would take their Irish heritage more seriously because I love corned beef and cabbage but I am not going to make that for myself. My mother used to make it occasionally and she was so French that it was alarming.

EDIT: I forgot to mention that the only Irish that I have is that I had some Irish Whiskey once.

I like the "Everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day" sentiment. It's fun!
Some ideas beyond wearing green:
1)Many cable tv companies have a series of channels called "Music Choice".....one of those choices is a channel called: "Sounds of the Seasons"
You can put that channel on and hear Irish music.
2.If you have an ALEXA device, say: "Alexa, play Celtic Woman from Pandora Radio"
3.Watch a Yuotube video on Ireland. Try video searches for Ring of Kerry. Irish Castles. Dublin. Try whatever. :)

Never cooked corned beef before (although my mother did when I was a kid). So today, I went to the store and looked for something pre-cooked, but they didn't carry that.

I then saw a smaller (3 pd.) package of corned beef, and it said to simmer it in water for 3 hours. I figured I could handle that. There was also a little seasoning packet in the package, but I dropped half of that on the floor ( 🤦 ) and my dog ( land shark that he is), dove for it and licked it up. :cautious:

So, we'll see how it comes out. Oh, no cabbage--hate it. I do have some potatoes and carrots though.
