2 nights in Orlando, 3 in Tampa area, 3 in Tennessee. That’s the plan.

Still looking for an Orlando hotel and a Pigeon Forge hotel. The West Coast hotel is the exact same one we stayed at for Spring Training last year.

We haven’t told the kids yet. 😂
are you taking them or is it their Christmas surprise by not telling or taking them until you two are on the road

Mike’s family Christmas get-together is always on Boxing Day. The hosts this year are doing ham.

I usually do a ham for Christmas. Mike just suggested we mix it up and do steak!

Steak, baked potatoes, and a nice Caesar salad - if the Romaine ever cleans up its act! Done!
My son in laws family, whom they don't associate with at all, always had prime rib on Christmas. Never heard of that before, but, they are from Colorado and that might explain everything. ;):p
Jelly. I've always wanted to see a launch in Florida. Glad you could see it.
I saw two, however both from Kissimmee. One I noticed as I looked up toward the east in a Denny's Parking Lot on Rte. 192 and the other as I was riding in a tram from TTC parking toward MK. Those two were quite a few years apart. Don't remember the exact dates, but, they were both shuttle launches. Wasn't looking for either one of them, just happened to look up at the right time.

You do remember that you stand a good chance of being up to your aching hip in snow in Pigeon Forge don't you? Dollywood usually closes right after Christmas until April. (at least it used to do that) It's right in the middle of the Smokey Mountains. And the Titanic exhibition might be blocked off by yet another iceberg! Hate to be the carrier of bad news, but, at the very least it will be very cold there. You will be able to experience what it was like to be denied access to the floating door.
