I think your Uggs, will get more use in the mountains of eastern Tennessee then flip flops unless you have clothing that goes well with blue feet. I was there in mid-December the year that I moved down here from Vermont. And I was cold. My being cold is a rare event. Who knows we do have some warm days in the winter down here, but, there will be some degree of justice if you get to experience some of that frigid air that you Canandians send down to us all winter.

My doctor is convinced that I have poor circulation in my right foot, because my left measures at 96 and the right at 95. What those numbers mean remains a mystery. It is medical jargon that is not shared with patients I guess. I have told her that I don't understand how the circulation in my right foot can be bad and still have my feet sweat. They are warmed by circulation in the winter. So far no reasonable explanation. She seems determined to find something terminal about me and shows no signs of stopping even though I have not complained about anything being wrong. I suppose I should be happy that she seems to be doing stuff in my best interest, but, really I'd like to spend a few weeks a year without having to go for some scan, x-rays, MRI, blood work or other forms of poking and prodding. My feet get cold once I plop down on the couch and stop moving. As long as I’m moving, I’m okay.

Thanks - they really were awesome. They were decorating the place with lots of lights too, which must be amazing at night. I don't think we'll have time to go back for that, but we'll be there for Rainforest Masks of Costa Rica in January
