Oh no, they were actually here. And then they got loaded back on the truck.Maybe they're at the post office?
Lots of unions up here - mostly Canadian versions of the same ones you have.
Certainly anyone who works for ANY level of govāt is unionized.

Nobody told me I had to detach the old washer and dryer from the pedestals. Delivery guys wouldnāt do it. Wouldnāt wait for me to do it. Wouldnāt take them with the pedestals. Wouldnāt come back.
Loweās lost their minds. This is a third party delivery company.
Try again on Monday. Mike can deal with it. And if he tips them, Iāll kill him!
I have one where I buy a giant house and most of the rooms are falling apart or unfinished. I could draw you a floorplan at this point as itās always the same house in the dream with the same shiny blue wallpaper and dirty long pile rugs (canāt use the 70s term - itās censored) in every room.I also have recurring dreams about staying in a huge house which usually has a few hidden rooms.
Actually they do - including the postal workers. That's fascinating. Our government down here does not have unions, but some private companies do--just the opposite of Canada.
All they had to do was take away the old appliances, drop the new ones. Iāve got the Ski for hooking things up.A couple of years ago we bought a dryer from Lowe's. The delivery guys were fairly useless--they were not employees of Lowes, but some private contractor. Hubs ended up correctly hooking up the dryer himself, and he had to get a different hose vent thing, because they brought the wrong one, as well!!
I feel your pain. But trust me, you wouldn't want those guys to do anything beyond what they were hired for, as they can't even handle that job.
CUPW (pronounced cup-W) - Canadian Union of Postal Workers is the union responsible for paid maternity leave being instituted.Actually they do - including the postal workers.
I'm not seeing how that is fair unless they got that way while at work. (Workers Comp.) Do men get the equivalent time off with pay? That would be why it cost about $4. to mail a letter in Cananada.CUPW (pronounced cup-W) - Canadian Union of Postal Workers is the union responsible for paid maternity leave being instituted.

Since then, paid leave time has tripled, and can be split between both parents. Iām not sure what Union is claiming credit for that.
Yes, men can split the āparentalā leave. I think itās up to 61 weeks combined between both parents, per birth. Not sure (but probably) the same amount applies to adoptive parents. The federal govāt will pay 55% of your wages.I'm not seeing how that is fair unless they got that way while at work. (Workers Comp.) Do men get the equivalent time off with pay? Welcome to Canada - North Americaās soon to be Greece.
I think itās a buck to mail a letter. Not sure, as itās been FOREVER since I did. Stamps no longer have a dollar/cents amount depicted. A stamp is a stamp is a stamp, as long as youāre mailing to somewhere within Canada. When postal rates go up, old stamps are still worth the value of mailing a letter.
Google says it better:
The PERMANENT⢠stamp, identified with the letter P in place of a value, is always accepted at the current domestic postage price. If you buy a PERMANENT stamp today, you can use it anytime in the future. One PERMANENT stamp can be used to mail a letter (weighing up to 30 grams) anywhere in Canada.

You donāt have to lick them. Theyāre peel and stick.Does the glue taste like maple syrup?
Sounds like a missed opportunity! You donāt have to lick them. Theyāre peel and stick.
The $100 bills smell like maple syrup though.![]()
What's really dumb is that those dreams for me are so unlike me. I was always the good girl, the prude, the one who was responsible and had the homework done, etc. I never would have forgotten a class or just not shown up. In high school, if I was running a bit late, I'd have been panicking, not casually making phone calls, folding laundry, watching TV, etc. Dream me is a bit of a jerk!Good girl.
I have āforgot to go to classā high school dreams.
Actually they do - including the postal workers.
Huh?
O.k. So I did some digging, and they are federal employees but have unions. Never knew that before--surprised.
Teachersā Unions are the strongest unions in the country up here. It is virtually impossible to get fired once youāre in. They also happen to have the most lucrative pension funds.Public school teachers as well..
