Wow, another big step for you--you've weighed your options, and came up with another great idea. And, your time in Florida was also well spent. I'm happy to hear that you made this decision, and I think it's a win-win for you, and your family, too! :)

I think it will be a good career path for me. Talking with my grandmother, who was X-ray tech, was really helpful in making the decision.


I'm still really wanting to make a trip up to Canada. I'll just have to find the time to do it, and we can meet up then.

Very pretty. We decorated yesterday and I had a few things I had put somewhere special too. I think I found them all though. ;)

So the list is final! I just put them alphabetically, and the rule will be that you make an avatar for the next person on the list, then Wrangler Rick will make one for Ajrwdwgirl. Whenever you're ready, you can PM your creation to its recipient. No deadline really, but nothing before Thanksgiving (turkey before tree!) Recipients can display their gift throughout the Christmas season for as long as they choose. Have fun!!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
On our way to work, and 10 minutes into the journey Mike realizes he forgot the lunch bag. No biggie - I just phone Son #1 and ask him to put it in the fridge.

Two minutes later, he realizes he forgot his phone and wallet. Multiple, multiple bad words later and we are off the highway headed back home.

Sounds like a great morning. Yeesh. Are you back to work then? I thought he was working for you for now? Or are you doing it together until you are recovered enough to handle it on your own?

He’s just been working one day/week for me since
I came back 5 weeks ago.

Not wanting to sound like a whiner, but having three days off is making a big difference. The work isn’t particularly strenuous - a lot of standing (or in my case, leaning), but the 75 minute commute each way is taxing.
