I heard the sad news today as well. He was one of the last of an era, that featured headliner comedians on TV variety shows like Mike Douglas and Johnny Carson, as well as his stage performances out in Vegas. He also acted in a number of movies throughout his career.
I like this photo of him below when he was younger. May he rest in peace.
