Now that I'm back to work at a school with no AC, I'm looking forward to the cool weather (not snow though). This past week has been miserable with high humidity and all the sweaty pre-teen and teen bodies heating up the classroom.....Especially when I get them right from Phy Ed, ugh that heat that emanates from them .

It's pouring here. Glad I got the second cutting of hay all baled and in the barn! I lucked out this year - neither of the cuttings got rained on. I was hoping to get some outside work done today, but I guess not.

I don't know if I've ever said this - but I'm fascinated by your posts that mention farm life. We used to visit my dad's aunt who lived on a farm in upstate NY and I found it so peaceful and beautiful. It's so different from where I live.

It used to be easier than it is now. I don't like how it seems they changed it just to do something different.

I hear ya! I was born and lived most of my life in Chicago. It is so much different over here - in a good way. I like the peace and tranquillity - not to mention the space. In the city the houses were 10-15 feet apart...

I had just the opposite - grew up on a farm - raised all our food and what not. Big adjustment to live in the burbs.
