What?!This may come as a huge surprise to some of you, but I' m not too fond of snow.
I know... I've tried to keep it a secret.What?!
They need to make cars with solar panels on the roof that retain heat and release it when it gets cold to melt the snow off of your car.Seeing snow makes me ready for Christmas. But again, once January hits, snow just gets depressing. And it needs to stay off my car and the streets.
We saw a Fisker in Naples with solar panels on the roof. I think it cost more than our house....They need to make cars with solar panels on the roof that retain heat and release it when it gets cold to melt the snow off of your car.
After the summer we've had down here, I may be outside doing a little Cantore-ing myself whenever we see our very first snow flurry of winter.
I hate being cold too. I'd much prefer being dripping wet with sweat than shivering from cold. Anything below 55 degrees is just TOO cold.I just love seeing pictures like that because it makes me so happy that I moved south. I don't think I would emotionally get through another Nor'Easter. I find no fun, beauty or adventure in a snowstorm. It may be because I spent many years in the public transportation business or just that I hate to be cold. Pick either one, doesn't matter, the important thing is that I don't live there anymore and by the time the climate change alters the weather here in the south to create more snow I'll probably be gone to that warm tropical climate in the sky or even a hotter place a bit lower. Either way, it will not be snow.
make that 35 and I'm with you 100%I hate being cold too. I'd much prefer being dripping wet with sweat than shivering from cold. Anything below 55 degrees is just TOO cold.
Actually, you are correct...I have been know to walk out of the house without a coat with temps in the upper 40's. Lower 40's NOPE...not gonna happen.make that 35 and I'm with you 100%
When I first moved down here I did that all the time. Now, I'm starting to understand why 49 degrees brings out the parkas, hats and mittens. The oddity is that it needs to get into the 20's before the shorts are changed for grown up pants. Seems so odd to see people that look like they are venturing into the antarctic from the waste up and the Bahamas from the waste down.Actually, you are correct...I have been know to walk out of the house without a coat with temps in the upper 40's. Lower 40's NOPE...not gonna happen.
I'd prefer it if I could just remain friends with my nut bread.National Date Nut Bread Day
Yep. My local Walgreens does this every single time you check-out, and it gets old really fast. (Still better than when places hound you to sign-up for rewards programs, but still...)Is it just me or lately does it seem like every transaction you make requires a follow-up survey afterwards?

How serene...it looks like a mashup of many different lakes/marshes I have seen over the years.
