Stay safe - they say that's a nasty one. We're supposed to get it tomorrow, and they've already mentioned tornado warnings for parts of the state.Campus here is being shut down due to severe weather headed this way.

Almost as bad as that boring science stuff meant for boysEwe. Nature. Icky.
21 hours from here to WDW. And it would be more, but we only make the minimum amount of stops. Usually 4.So I leave to Orlando this weekend...by car. I routed our drive today...geez this is gonna be a long drive on the first day. Close to 11 hours to Pensacola!
You're making me feel like a wimp for complaining about the 2 hour drive to Philadelphia Airport.21 hours from here to WDW. And it would be more, but we only make the minimum amount of stops. Usually 4.
I'm a pro long drives. The trick...?You're making me feel like a wimp for complaining about the 2 hour drive to Philadelphia Airport.
Ditto for us.21 hours from here to WDW. And it would be more, but we only make the minimum amount of stops. Usually 4.
The family we usually go with are 15 minutes closer to WDW than us (huge amount, right?), and they have stop every 2 hours I swear. By the time we've driven 5 hours and are at our first stop, they are nearing stop 3. Two people in that family have weak bladders. Amateurs.Ditto for us.
I'd complain too if I had to deal with the Philadelphia airport! You're making me feel like a wimp for complaining about the 2 hour drive to Philadelphia Airport.
We got two round trip tickets for the price of one from Newark. Parking is cheaper too. I know there must be a catch and I'm scared for find out what it is.I'd complain too if I had to deal with the Philadelphia airport!

I can never sleep on planes or automobiles. With the extra time off and the cost of gas, tolls, a night at a hotel along the way, and the dog sitter, the flight for 2 people turned out cheaper.I'm a pro long drives. The trick...?
Sleeping.
It can always be worse. It could be LaGuardia.I've just had a few bad experiences there, but then, there's Newark...![]()

Newark is the quickest for us to get to and is easy to get a cab back and forth from my area. Even easier if they don't tow Ubers. So I usually put up with the awful security lines, United, and flight delays because of that.A few years back I came to the realization that JFK was actually the easier airport to navigate. Aside from the 2 hours line for security, that is. Under no circumstances would I go to Newark, but that's mainly based on geography since it's probably 2 hours (with traffic) and easily $40 in tolls from my house. For me, Islip > JFK > LaGuardia
If you relocate to the roads we travel, sure!Could one of you make a stop at my house to pick me up?

Atlantic City is further, but easy to reach and easy to park. Flying Spirit though is the worst. JFK is like you driving to Newark, but business trips keep booking me there. LaGuardia is the worst drive, security, and is dirtier. I haven't delt with Philly yet.
Legend says there is an airport in Trenton, but no one has actually heard of it.
