Don't they realize that the surf brought that sand up the beach ...it can just as easily take it all back whenever it gets in the way.

No.

You would think...but no.

Actually - further back there's probably dunes with signs not to walk on them and vegetation growing that does help in barricading the water. But when the surf gets that angry there's just nothing that's going to stop it.

Nope, no dunes. They were destroyed during Sandy and never rebuilt. They were supposed to rebuild them, but they haven't done any of things they said they would.

They just have that gap where garbage blows in. And this isn't the only town that still hasn't gotten their carp together.

My parents were married less than a year after they met. And they didn't "have" to get married. One of my aunts was very obviously pregnant at her wedding.
My wife and I got married exactly 6 months from the time we met. My mother was convinced that she must have been pregnant and that was the reason why we "rushed" into it. She wasn't, but, her mother had bone cancer and it was more so that she could be part of the wedding then anything, besides that, socially, at the time, shacking up was frowned upon. My mother felt that it had no chance of survival. She was right, it only lasted 29 years and then, just like that, it was over. Mom's know best, I guess.
Not to mention, she was Canadian. What kind of future could that be. ;)
I could tell you but this is a family forum.:grumpy:

Named after my Mothers middle name. Not for the car itself, but, from the built in GPS that tended to repeat things over and over so you wouldn't forget it. (sometimes thought of as nagging) and also because one time after I had ignored it's direction about three times in a row attempted to direct me into a lake. As usual, I rebelled and refused to do so. I think I detected a bit of anger in her voice after that.
