Here they'd have blocked off streets for miles around and had helicopters circling overhead.

We don't have those means. I was actually surprised we had SWAT. Must have come from the closest city. I'm shocked roads weren't blocked off, though.

That made me laugh.

Sounds exactly like my parents. My mom was 14, and wanted nothing to do with my dad because she thought he was a hoodlum. He was also persistent. Nowadays, he'd be charged with harassment.

Their 50th would have been next year. :(

I am watching the first Survivor of this season.
That will leave only one more episode to go before I can join the main discussion.

I did know from CBS' post on FB who was booted, and I kept thinking why? Having seen the first 45 minutes or so, I get it now. Who would have thought that anyone could be more annoying than Abi-Maria?

The person booted first is who I chose to win the season. Ended up playing way too hard to start off.

My parents were married less than a year after they met. And they didn't "have" to get married. One of my aunts was very obviously pregnant at her wedding.
