Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I'm sad (sigh and sob) but no one remembered my Birthday. 😄 But that's OK, at my age, I'm not sure I want to be reminded. I did get a lot on Facebook, but to be fair, they notify of birthdays.

I had a split Birthday situation. On the 20th I had a small party at my youngest Daughters home. They were heading out for Vermont a few days later and were going to miss the actual date. Then on my Birthday my other Daughter took me to the "Drive Shack" with the rest of her family after that we had spare ribs and gifts. The following day my Grandson took me to lunch at a place called "Bad Daddy's". I had never been there even though it is fairly close to me. The food was good but very messy. I'm not a big fan of sloppy food. So basically a two week celebration that in spite of adding weight to an already overburdened body was pretty special.

Just kidding about the lack of attention from here. I'm old and, by law, I need to find something to be ch about.
I’m sorry - I meant to post on Sunday, but I got distracted by ā€œlifeā€.

Happy belated 77th!

Thank you sir. You were an inspiration.
As of 2:30PMEST two people posted wow emojis. I'll follow up my post that today at Costco I paid $2.83 per gallon.
After leaving their property I passed Wawa (a Convenience chain with Gasoline as well ). so....just 1.5 miles from Costco, this Wawa was charging $3.05 per gallon.
I would love to only pay $3 a gallon for petrol

I used to be a Costco member, but here in NC we have a choice of Costco and BJ's Warehouse. I like the later because the selection is better. For example, I remember when I went to Costco to get Peanut Butter they only had their brand and Skippy's. At BJ's they have their own brand as well but they also have Skippy and Jif. And the take outside coupons.

They also have a gas station which is almost never more that a single car wait and yesterday I paid $2.63 gal. $2.68 without a BJ's Credit Card it is $2.78. With the BJ's Super Card it was $2.59. Except for the extra 5 cents per gal I see no reason for it's existence.

Please, please, please don't anyone feel bad, I was just doing my usual parent guilt practice along with my often questionable sense of humor. After the kids leave home you start to use your guilt gene less often and it gets rusty. But for everyone that has done the Belated wishes, thanks. I wasn't intentionally fishing but it seem a caught a few anyway. Sincerely, Thanks again.

Oh wait, I forgot, you are in Jersey. Does it take longer since you can't pump your own gas??

Happy belated birthday! I know this isn't old, but it's a new decade... I entered my 30s last month. Finally had my golden birthday... it wasn't as exciting as child-aged PUSH thought it would be.

Summer school is done. I stayed a few hours after and rearranged my whole classroom. I think I found a layout that I like. I was just ready for something different after a couple years of the same thing. The furniture placement always has to get done first, before I can do anything else. But the furniture placement is my favorite part. Now I have many hours of all the little things. I'll probably go in one day next week to work, and then more often as we get closer.

Hey, we've all had years, here and there, when no one acknowledges our birthday. (I'm actually surprised when anyone remembers mine!) :p

Probably. There seems to be one attendant handling 4 pumps.
Costco has 3 bays...with 2 pumps on the right and 2 pumps on the left.
So 3 employees taking care of 12 cars at any given moment.
"Oh wait, I forgot" that most of the folks reading my post DO pump their own gas.
So @rshell68 ....we both forgot ;):D

That’s a big difference if you’re filling up.
I noticed yesterday that the Sam’s Club near the music store had regular unleaded for $2.37.9.
Gas is still well under $3 everywhere here.

NJ used to be one of the cheaper states in this region.....then the relatively modest gasoline tax that we were paying was jacked up significantly. Oh well. 2 years from now I'll likely move to Virginia or North Carolina. Closer to our daughter.

The current gas tax here in Texas is $0.20/gallon, and has been such since 1991.
