I can’t find it.I had not heard of the Burger King Woody “woody” bag, so I had to Google it, which led me to an image of one for sale on eBay for $37.95…!!!!!
How does stuff like that even get through final approval before being sent for printing and distribution…???!!!!!
Ironic that you posted this the day after the tenth anniversary of my brother's passing. Have you also suffered a loss this week?

The milestone anniversaries always cut a little deeper. There’s no real reason that it should be so, and yet it is.

I guess I must be considered heartless. I have lost my Father and Mother, all of my Aunts and Uncles and scary number of cousins (since I was the oldest of them), my ex-wife and many close friends, however when it happened and for a few months after I had a hard time trying to stop thinking about it. After a few months I thought about them and at any given time I feel sad but only for the moment. I miss all of them, but I'm not pained by it now. I have come to realize that like birth, it is something that is going to reach all of us at some point and for me personally, I would hope that my departure will likely sadden a few (not many) but I don't want any of them, particularly my children, to spend their precious life constantly mourning over me. I want them to remember me for all the good things I might have done, smile, miss me and continue on with their lives for as long as they can. That's all I can ask for or want to expect.

We went to the Efteling yesterday. DH loves the thrill rides and up to now, has had no one to do them with him, because I won't do thrill rides, and the kids were too young and scared of them. E promised to spend the day with him doing all the thrill rides. A stayed home because there are literally like two rides he likes, and he didn't want to be bored the whole day. So I was by myself the whole day, and I did a bunch of stuff I had never done before, because they were things DH didn't want to do. Now I was on my own and didn't have to worry about anyone being bored or being in a bad mood because I was making them do stuff they didn't want to do.
Carnival Festival: basically Efteling's version of It's a Small World, but not on a boat.

Fata Morgana: basically Efteling's version of Pirates of the Caribbean, but set in the middle east. Some of the scenes are more like the animatronics from SSE than Pirates. But it's a boat ride on a track, like in Pirates.

Sprookjesbos (Fairytale Forest): This is a walk through attraction that depicts the various fairy tales. I didn't take pictures of everything....not everything is really photogenic. But there's Rapunzel, Snow White, Cinderella, Rumpelstiltskin, Princess and the Pea, Little mermaid, and a bunch I don't know.
This first one is the seven swans, which is unfamiliar to me, and was therefore quite funny. It's a boat ride. The wait was about 10 minutes, 3 people to a boat max, but you are in a boat by yourself if you are alone. You sit straddling a plank in the middle of the boat. And then you go into the tunnel, and I kid you not, This woman knitting is the entire attraction. That's it. You go in the tunnel, you see her, you come out of the tunnel, ride done. It takes like one minute. For anyone who thinks Navi River is a waste of time, I give you exhibit A of how much better Disney is.
This is the gingerbread house, and if you rattle the gate, the witch peeks out of a window in her door and asks who's nibbling on her house.

This is a dragon who guards treasure. Usually, if you pull on the golden crown in the treasure chest, he comes to life and steam come out of his mouth, but he had a sign that said "Storing", which is dutch for "out of order".
This is the Indian Night Lillies. It's a fairy tale about an enchantment. Something about stars that were turned into fairies and trapped inside lillies, and at night they come out and dance. This one is a short little show of a few minutes where the story is told and the animatronics follow along, so the lillies open and the fairies dance, but my picture of them dancing is blurry...so.
There are many many more....there are some....gnomes I guess? That live in toadstools, there is a sleeping beauty castle, there's another animatronic one like the one above that tells the story of a sick chinese emporer and a nightengale, there's Pinocchio, something about little red shoes that make the girl dance until she dies, the little match girl, a donkey that poops golden coins, the Emporer's new Clothes, A fakir who flies on a magic carpet and makes the flowers grow, One about a giant, one about a tree that tells stories. I spent a couple of hours, and I skipped things I saw last time that aren't my favorites. Princess and the pea is new this year, but was unimpressive. It doesn't tell the whole story, and it's just a window looking in to a woman sleeping on a stack of mattresses.

This carousel is from the 1950s and it runs on steam. I didn't realize you could still ride it....I thought it was components that you could see, but not an actual ride. It went faster than I expected and the ride vehicles kind of sway in a circle rather than just going up and down...I was nauseated and ready to get off of it as soon as it stopped.
This is part of a much larger diarama. This is probably about a 4th or 5th of it, but it's all pretty much the same thing.
The steam train that goes around the park, or as @Tuvalu calls it, The moving Park Bench. I wanted to ride it, but the wait time was 50 minutes, and it's just not worth that.
This is a boat ride on the lake. Kind of like a lazy river, but then in boats. It's about 20 minutes, and the boats are on a track, so you don't have to do anything.
This is Symbolica. It's a trackless dark ride system, like MMRR or Ratatouille. There are 3 options, but it's all the same ride, with the exception of 2 of the rooms. Music, treasure, or hero. You start with a pre-show in which the court official reads the rules and Pardoes (Efteling's Mickey Mouse character) takes over and says forget the rules! I'll guide you in a more fun way! And then chaos ensues. There is a single rider line for this one, but then you don't get to pick which rooms you go into.
This is Droomvlucht( Dream Flight) It's fairies. It's probably my favorite. It's very whimsical and colorful. This is the only dark ride I knew existed in Efteling until yesterday when I discovered the Carnival Festival and Fata Morgana, and to a lesser extend the seven swans, which is technically a dark ride, all be it a VERY short one. The Indian night lillies and Chinese Nightengale are in the style of a dark ride, but you stand at a railing...there's no ride.

These are Stroopwafels. Normally, you'd get them fresh from a street vendor, without all the white or dark chocolate and stuff on them. It's like a very thin sandwich cookie with a caramel sauce in the middle. They are to die for if you can get them fresh and warm. There used to be a restaurant in Arnhem that sold them via a window on the street, but it closed down during the pandemic, and then in March, there was a big fire and the section of buildings where it was burned down. So we really love it when we find fresh street vendor stroopwafels. You can sometimes get them at a carnival or fair. These were in the sprookjesbos section, and I didn't see any fresh, plain ones, so I got the white chocolate and marshmallow. It was cloyingly sweet, unfortunately. But better than NO stroopwafel, so I'll take it.
My fries and Kroket, which is a traditional Dutch fried snack. It's beef in a kind of gravy, breaded and deep fried. This was not the best kroket I've ever had. I should have gone for the kip corn, but I was really in the mood for this texture, and they didn't have bitteballen, which are a meat paste in a little ball shape. No pictures of my hotdog from earlier. It was tasty, but it was a thick hotdog on a bun with no toppings, so nothing anyone needed to see.
And since I have more room for a few pictures, more of symobolica!
And that's it. I don't do thrill rides, so no pictures of Coasters or anything, but they do HAVE those, so if you ever come to the Netherlands, you can absolutely get your thrill ride on. Without me.
I only got to do Droomvlucht twice, which is sad, because I do love it, but the wait time was always too long. Most of the rides don't have single rider lines, and the ones that do are mostly the big thrill ones. I will not wait more than 30 minutes for an attraction, and even less for ones that aren't spectacular. Fata Morgana I did twice because the wait time was only 10 minutes, but it's ALL the way on the other side of the park from everything else. It's on the thrill ride side, and I had gone back and forth enough, so even though the wait time was still lower than other things, I didn't end up going back once I was back on the other side again. I did Symbolica at Rope drop so I only had to wait about 10 minutes once the ride actually opened. I was in the third group that was let in, and I would have been a lot earlier, but I was waiting with my DH and E, who weren't allowed to go to the thrill ride side to get in lines yet, because hotel guests have early access. I finally broke off from them about 15 minutes before park opening and went and got in line at Symbolica, which isn't included in early opening, I guess. I did it again in the late afternoon with single rider with about a 10 minute wait once I got through the preshow. There was almost no wait to get into the preshow...maybe a minute or two.
I wanted to do the Pagode, which is basically a big crane that takes you up kind of like a hot air balloon...it doesn't do anything, just takes you up for a view of the park. The wait times were low, so I prioritized more popular rides while the wait times for those were doable. I got to Pagode just as they were closing it down for technical difficulties. It never opened back up.

I just had a plain chocolate stroopwafel and I did try the bitterballen which I would probably see if I could get a veggie version somewhere. It was still good though. But I'm sad I didn't go now.
The park I would love to go to one day is Europa Park but none of my friends like theme/amusement parks
I need new friends.
