Where in the World Isn't Bob Saget?

I’ve been wanting to try that place and Gideons for a long time. unfortunately Gideons is supposed to be really hard to get into so my family has never really tried.

Last time I went to Disney, we did the virtual queue and then stood in line for about 10 minutes. Not worth it in my opinion. There's a thing called too much sometimes and I just didn't think the flavor was there. It's all about the pixels 🤣 Whoever can get the best cookie picture. (just had the cookies)

The virtual queue is just too much hassle for my parents for cookies but someday I’m going to explore the world on my own and that’s going to be one of my first priorities.

Universal UK in almost near final approval! There's a potential for great IP and since there's already a Harry Potter attraction in London. Hopefully, that won't be a land.

Everyone is going crazy for Epic Universe but the park has really no appeal for me (based on just the IP alone)

Though if we go by that...Seuss Landing would be my most hated part of the main park. Despise Dr. Seuss.

Indeed.
These days it seems so many folks will stand in lines they normally wouldn’t, to pay big bucks for things they normally wouldn’t, just so they can post it on all their social media.
On the other hand, I’ll post pics of said folks doin’ the above on my one social media site…!!!!! 😁:hilarious:😉:)

I sure hope it’s over for y’all soon…y’all have been pounded with the cold and white stuff…!!! 🤞 🌞
We had heavy rain all day yesterday, followed by a flash freeze overnight. They knew it was coming so all schools were cancelled in advance.

I woke up this morning to my FB feed full of pics of eavestroughs that had come crashing down from the weight.

So, HUGE fire in Arnhem. It's about 45 minutes from here, but E has to go through there to get to University. We were worried that she wouldn't make it to her test today because the whole inner city is closed, but the station is just outside the closed off area. No buses were going, but the trains were. It's so sad...all the buildings are historic from the 18th and 19th century, and they lost around 10 of them, plus around 30 apartments that were above the stores. It started at like 3:45 in the morning and by 5:30pm there were still flames. They don't THINK anyone was injured, but they can't get in to all the buildings to check because the fire was too hot and there was a risk of the buildings collapsing. They are tearing down some of the buildings because there's nothing left of them and the bits that are left are at a high risk of collapsing.

Mike’s dad was part of the forces that liberated Arnhem, and where he was critically injured. He recovered obviously, but suffered from his injuries for the rest of his life.

His regiment returned for the 40th anniversary, and were billeted with townspeople. The people of Arnhem care for the graves of the fallen Canadian soldiers even to this day, and hold Canadians in the highest esteem.

OK, so I copy-pasted the below here from a thread, started by another member, simply called “Buffets”, as I didn’t wanna’ be a smarta$$/embarrass them/P them off in their own thread, and have never seen them post here in this thread before. But, where do questions like this even come from, especially regarding Disney…?!?!?!

“We are doing two character buffets on our coming trip. Our son (4) is very particular about food and he will not eat the breakfasts, if anything maybe a strawberry and if we are extremely lucky one pancake/waffle. My question is if our son is not going to eat are they still going to charge us even if we explain ahead of time?”

I had to seriously restrain myself from responding…
“Yes they will, as, last time I checked anyway, ‘maybe strawberries’ were $15.95 each and ‘lucky pancakes/waffles’ were $22.95 each.”

It was tough, but I resisted the urge…!!!!! :hilarious:
