For the first 18 years of my life, I called it the "crust".
Once I met Hubby and heard him call it the "heel", that made a lot more sense.

Call it what you will, they are my two favourite pieces for toast.

Also, Tammy is coming tonight to help me in the basement. Avery's room has been scrubbed and transformed back into a storage room. Problem is, when you gut and clean one room, you end up destroying three or four others. It's called collateral damage.
