For the first 18 years of my life, I called it the "crust".
Once I met Hubby and heard him call it the "heel", that made a lot more sense.

Call it what you will, they are my two favourite pieces for toast.

The heels are my favorites too.

"Heel" does make more sense, because every piece has part of the crust.
Clearly, you folks have spent way to much time pondering this so lets just call it a Crusty End Heal!

My mother passed away when she was 87 years old. She still had the most beautiful set of teeth that I had ever seen. Straight, pure white and she still had all of them (original package). She to my knowledge never ever ate a single part of the Crusty End Heal or Crusty edges. She always cut them off. She figured that she kept her teeth because she never really used them for anything other then to smile. Vanity thy name was Mom!
And Leo won best actor?????
Damn, I thought he died in a ship wreak back in 1912!

Some people call this hell, but you're still in Oklahoma Territory... Save your breath. I don't know who hung you or why, but if you're innocent, the judge will set you free. And if you're not, we'll have to take the trouble to hanging you again.

Poor Avery. If things don't work out with his dad and he needs to move back in, the best I can offer him is a folding army cot in the middle of my storage room.

And can someone please tell me where half of my dropped ceiling tiles got to? Back to Lowe's ... after the storm blows over.

Still a work in progress, but we're getting there:

Wow. That's a lot of stuff you have in storage bins. Getting ready for a yard sale? ;)
